Deus Ex: Human Revolution E3 trailer is very snappy

It's not like you really need a reason to watch a new Deus Ex: Human Revolution trailer. That said, if you want one, we've got you covered. At around 1:20, hero Adam Jensen snaps an enemy's neck, and by "snap," we mean ... well, let's not completely spoil it.

Looks so sleek, reminds me of Crysis 2 in terms of graphics and fluidity.

@Emmenthal I don't know, it is pretty. But I can't help but feel that the non-optional of highlighting everything you can interact with in the world by default will ruin the experience for me.

@Robborboy I am pretty certain that they said that can be turned off.

@Robborboy It is optional , already confirmed by the leak of the 12 hour beta they got out now.

@ChainSmoker Optional in what way? Via a menu, or is it an implant upgrade. Eitherway this is good news and pleases me.

@LEONLEONLEON Options are like this are great. Now if we could turn off the third person stuff and cover system it would be a day 1 purchase. If not I'll wait a year and pick it up in the bargain bin.

Your mom was right. Spinsters are usually desperate for a child so they'll just use you for sex.

Bonus points for those who spot the returning characters: one is obvious, and another is a "Could that be...?"

I played the first one but it was 10 years ago. I just remember some kind of National Treasure plot.

Comparing Deus Ex, in any way, to National Treasure is one of the most horrifying insults that I have ever seen.

Mentioning Planescape: Torment in a Deus Ex article is a beautiful thing, sir. The two best games ever.

I look forward to this game more and more as I see new trailers. I can see myself playing this game a ton of times. Like Mass Effect. I love me some Mass Effect but it is time for a new in-depth and engaging atmosphere. This game cannot come any sooner. I'm stoked. =)

Just when I thought these Deus Ex trailers couldn't get any better.

I'm in need of some variation in my shooters and action games, this might just be it.

Looks like this is yet another great game year. Some good titles out so far and many more to come, especially shooters.

@Godslegion could be wrong but I thought Deus Ex was more of an RPG.

This looks great but the voice acting sounds a bit... suspect at times. Not bad but just... ugh. Hopefully it's better come release. That being said got my Steam Pre-Order already. :-)

ah well they french canadian voice actors doing the english dub so you can't blame them too much, still looks pretty good though.

Aside from the gorgeous visuals, one thing that should never be overlooked about these trailers (and surely, the final game) is the outstanding soundtrack. I think I want to buy the Augmented Edition of this game just for that. I take my hat off to whomever it is who composed this soundtrack, I'll have to look him up.

@The Harbinger of Pie I totally agree. The score is usually overlooked, but it's part of what creates that great atmosphere and engaging experience that sucks you in to the story and the action. This seems to have some excellent music in it. I was not aware that the soundtrack was available as part of the "Augmented Edition"...definite must buy for me as well!!!

@LEGIONSINGULARGETHUNIT Me too I definitely heard it in this one. I also found a Youtube video where someone put Tron with Icarus over each other and it was hard to unhear.

Not a bad thing either. I love both soundtracks respectively.

Awesome trailer! come out already!!! I hope they have that Dragon's Tooth Sword in this version as well. I loved that weapon. :D

people keep pointing to a bunch of other games, but if this game is as good as the trailers make it look, it'll be GOTY contender as well. i'm pretty excited.

1:23, the Illusive Man!

Kinda weird how similar he looks to the illusive man in ME2.

graphics/art don't look very good to me, but I'm still super excited for this game. Most anticipated game in a long time, for me.
