Personally I still say Fable 3 is better than 2.
When it came out I was lucky enough to not run into the heavy glitches.
Though the worse ones seem to be fixed now.

I agree with Ezio. Maxed out my character Before the half way point of the game and quickly there after got bored and quit. That game just isn't as fun when you're not gaining experience and you're so rich gold drops mean nothing. (since it clocks you're earnings while the game's off, I'm probably a billionaire right now)

Why the demo release now? Seems odd. If anyone is thinking of this I don't think I could recommend it. Certainly I much preferred Fable 2. Fable 3 just didn't offer enough variation. The whole being ruler thing? Please. That was a massive let down. I still love me some Fable 1 and 2 but I do hope that there won't be a Fable 4. I think this franchise has run it's course.

As like most developers who release demos way down the road after release, they are probably trying to squeeze a few more sales.
Think of it, someone downloads game having not really ever played fable or heard of any bugs/problems and digs it, then goes off to make a purchase.

Serious note, will actually check this demo out. Totally loved the first one when it came out, even though there were boundaries and I was promised an "open world". 2 wasn't too bad and I got all achievements minus one (stupid bear!) but I keep hearing mixed (more negative, but whatever) thoughts on the 3rd game.

Glad I didn't pay for this game. The weird janky frame rate in the demo is killing me. On top of that, is it just me or does the game look worse than Fable 2?

I own the Platinum Hit for Fable II which has both DLC (Knothole & C Future). Now if did some searching online about Fable III doing this and haven't found anything.

It's not without its flaws, but fable 3 has a certain charm and I've played through it 3 times already.
Still...I enjoyed fable 2 a bit more. Here's hoping fable 4 is more grounded in fantasy. I didn't much care for the industrialized Albion.
