and FYI the lack of announcement for plans of the Zelda 25th anniversary, the glimmer of hope for an F-Zero 3DS, or an even bigger list of 3rd parties for the 3DS and Cafe annoys me. Greatly.

I believe Nintendo will probably release some sort of cloud service gaming for Cafe. Offer subscriptions for Pokemon MMO. Announces First person Zelda game. Metroid multiplayer online game. Mario Universe. Finishing off with some awesome 3D innovative tech?

Balloon Fight was so great just because of the simultaneous co-op. God I loved that game.

Sadly enough, fans won't be able to get another taste of creator Shigesato Itoi's quirky RPG series. The Mother creator recently told Nintendo president Satoru Iwata in the latter's Iwata Asks column that he has no plans to ever make a Mother 4.

"I'm not going to release a Mother 4," Itoi told Iwata. "Mother is over now. But lately I've started to really appreciate having released three Mother games."

Itoi isn't closing the door entirely on a new Mother game, however. He's open to letting others make another entry but he won't be involved. All he wants to do is play Mother 4 if it ever gets made.

"The feeling of, 'I want a Mother 4 to be released!' is inside me, too," he said. "Even if it’s not something I need to do, I still feel that way. Still, there isn’t someone for me to watch over from afar anymore. If there were a fourth game, I’d want to be the player."

Don't see that happening, the last two consoles they released were $250 each and it's rumored this console will be more powerful then the PS3.

Nintendo is usually always behind in tech. They were using cartridges when everyone was using CDs, they were using not only CD but MINI-CDs when everyone was using DVDs. Now they run in standard when everyone was starting to HD TVs.

This is likely the flipside of the Sony one, which was filled with obvious stuff that'll definitely happen, this is crisscrossed with stuff that'll likely never happen

Signs point to Xenoblade happening at some point, and it's now or never. Cafe will definitely exceed PS360, the question is by how much, Pikmin 3, if it exists at all, will come now, Zelda collection has been hinted at, 3D Netflix will be a talking point, Layton 5 they might as well do, a *window* will be given for Cafe, but no date, The Last Story is likely coming, and again its now or never. Some sort of Cafe Sports is likely too

I don't see Balloon Fight, there's no reason to delay Skyward Sword further, Layton 4 being a DS game will be passed over, focus will be put on Mario 3DS instead of Mario Cafe, Cafe can't possibly be under $200, they're not going to redesign the 3DS before its first holiday, Nintendo already said Metroid's going on hiatus, no Pokemon on cafe, certainly no Blu-Ray in cafe, the controller won't be touchscreen, they won't deal with fitness proper, Microsoft will make certain Call of Duty is their thing alone as far as the show goes, Cafe definitely won't be download only, Nintendo will be the last company to ever adopt such a strategy, 3DS won't be price-dropped, and i'm calling no gaffes this time

The Blu-Ray rumor's been a pretty persistent one, I wouldn't slam it.
The console being cheaper than the new handheld, or a price drop on a handheld that's been out for less than ten weeks is a bit ridiculous.

Can we officially put an end to calling "Cafe will have better graphics than 360/PS3" news? It should be assumed. Why else would they come out with a whole new console? How many years has it been?

"Cafe under $200" and "Cafe is download-only" totally not happening.
"3DS price drop" and "3DS redesign" seem unlikely but not impossible.

Everything else looks possible in a considerable rate. "Memeworthy exec line" is what I expect the most after anything related to Cafe.

If cafe isnt graphically superior to the competition can we stop seeing articles refering to it as the first to the next gen when its really last to the current gen.
Im all for innovation but hardware power dictates the 'next gen'.

Nintendo wouldn't go download only, because they want to appeal to everyone, including people from the ghetto with no internet whatsoever (i.e. my family)

I hope for new colors for the 3DS...in particularly the PURPLE they showed as a prototype at LAST year's E3! They need a girly color. :p

And more professor Layton would be nice....I LOVE those games.

I would think they'll also have a date for the Animal Crossing 3DS, too.


So, what I am hoping for is: new 3DS colors, Professor Layton 4 and Animal Crossing 3DS version. If they do announce new colors for say, by October, then I can buy a 3DS....only games I want are Professor Layton the one that will come for 3DS and the new Animal Crossing.
