between Halo CE, MGS and ZOE, and now this, HD remakes have me pumped this E3. not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

same. seems like the best games coming out are just HD rehashes of what's already been released. that's probably not a good thing...oh, and bioshock infinite. can't wait for that.

This just seems like a cash grab to me. The PSP versions were amazing, but it was BECAUSE it allowed me to play God of War on the go. I have a feeling it will be like the Jak & Daxter game that came out on the PS2 after its PSP release: Crappy compared to the made-for-console versions.

@Blackbird Didn't the PSP games review really well? I was under the impression they were good games in their own right, not just because they were portable. It's not for everyone I know, but I've played the trilogy, and wouldn't mind picking these up if the price is right.

what he's saying is that a lot of what made the games good is that you could play them on the go, and when you transfer that experience to the living room they tend to lose a lot of their appeal. such was the case with games like jak & daxter: the lost frontier, ratchet & clank: size matters, and secret agent clank. still, these are "hd" remakes, so maybe they'll work out a bit better than the aforementioned....hopefully. or maybe they're just milking the god of war franchise because they have nowhere to go with a proper sequel?

No trophy support, last I heard, so there's no real reason not to just play the PSP versions if you own one.

i don't see why they wouldn't have trophy support. that would just seem like a step back.

Are they going to change the controls? Been a while since I played it, but didn't you have to hit R and move to roll? If they are going out of their way to do this, they should make the controls more closely match the dual analog controls of their console version.

All I've gotta know is if we can transfer our saves and unlocks from PSP to PS3.
