During it's E3 press conference, Microsoft confirmed Disneyland Adventures. The Kinect-powered experience allows players to virtually tour the theme park and participate several mini-games. An onstage demo showed off games in which children flew through several Disney worlds, including Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. All of the mini-games appear essentially the same, with players collecting coins, similar to many of the games in Kinect Adventures.
We should note that none of the mini-games presented don't actually recreate any of the real Disneyland rides, which seems ... kind of weird. The game is set to release this holiday.

"Fist bump!" Could not have been more awkward.

Saves me the trouble of going to Anaheim.
That is unless they also promise a loading screen that resembles the lines for rides, then I'm effed either way.

This was nice... it put a nostalgic smile on my face and reminded me of being a kid... I wonder if Disneyland Park would be affected by this... then again tickets are way too damn expensive...

@feedingblasphemy The real Disney parks could only be positively affected. Games are not a replacement for the real park, and playing the game would keep park branding in people's heads.

True. Point taken. Then again everyone's MAD broke these days & a lot of people save more money these days rather than spending it... however it would be cool if Disney offered discounts through this in some way, maybe? IDK... let's just see what happens ;)

If they wanted to recreate the tea cup ride you would need to purchase the official Kinect office chairs

I would have loved this as a kid. All the fun, none of unbearable heat, and lines (well, I'm remembering Disney World, but nevermind).
Never go to Disney World during the summer.

My wife and I need a kid, like now. Well, actually, we'll play this even without one. We both love Disney World(never been to Disney Land), and this looks pretty cool.

Seems to be a lack of ethnicity in the in-game park visitors

They damn well better have space mountain and tower of terror or I'm not buying it........well I might just because I want to go back but can't because at my age if I go back without any kids I'll just be made fun off, and get kicked out.

Do you people not understand the importance of this event?
I've been waiting almost my entire life for a spiritual successor to Adventures in The Magic Kingdom.
I HAVE DIED OF HAPPINESS
