I'm gonna want to play the Animal Crossing for the 3DS. I have not played it for the wii in a while, but how could you not play it when you have a: Bear, Turtle, Human, Cat, Monkey, and Giraffe in 3D...I think it will make the characters even funnier and hard to ake serious

Kirby Wii.. So that's different from Kirby's Epic Yarn, huh?

Nintendo, please stop listening to your rabid fans. I don't want a new Star Fox, Kid Icarus, 3 new Marios or a new Metorid. I want something NEW.

I'm a fairly rabid Nintendo fan and I completely agree with you. I still enjoy the Marios, Zeldas, Metroids, etc... but want something new.

Epic Yarn didn't start out as a Kirby game. You were that little prince guy. This is the Wii Kirby they've been making for forever.

There's also a DS Kirby game, though, called Atsumete! Kirby coming out in Japan this summer.

@corna Actually, it's definitely Atsumete! Kirby. In English it's called Kirby: Mass Attack. Atsumete means gather BTW.

Wait a minute, still no Pikmin 3?

Let's get it straight, Luigi's Mansion(s) 2 is a great sequel to a Gamecube game, but then so would Pikmin 3.

With WiiU, HD Pikmin 3 would be so sweet. Can we get an actual level where you either play in Miyamoto's garden or his office?

Is Fortune Street perhaps a localization, at long last, of Itadaki Street?

(For those who don't speak weeaboo: Itadaki Street is a long-running Monopoly-like board-game-type-thing that's been done by Enix for as long as there's been an NES. None of them ever came to NA. When the Square merger was announced, there were rumblings that the series would get an official localization, particularly because the newest version (at the time) included Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest characters, but of course nothing happened. I even asked about it back in '06, but got nothing more committal than "we'll think about it". Anyway, bottom line is, maybe this time they've got the kinks worked out and can get it brought over.)

@John Z

It's not much, but both the logos for Itadaki Street and Fortune Street are pink. But Itadaki Street (according to Wiki's translation at least) means "Top Street", but that could still apply I suppose.

In short, don't get too excited, but it seems very probable.

This seems like a great system for Mario Party.

Can it play Gamecube games or are those gone now? How about upscaling Wii games to HD? Even Dolphin can do that.

GameCube games are dead on Wii U.

Wii games are not upscaled. (http://wiiugo.com/confirmed-the-wii-u-will-not-run-wii-games-in-hd/ )
