I hope I don't have to be embarrassed to buy this. I am a fan of Spyro, but i'm not a little kid. Why are they targeting little kids specifically? Also fighting enemies was the least interesting part of Spyro...

The Spyro series is drenched in the color of nostalgia. The toy idea is surely interesting--interesting in the same way the Wii U is where the physical world applies and affects tge virtual realm.

"You have a toy, it's in your imagination, it's alive, and the fact that it isn't is strange."

God, kids are spoiled nowadays. Anyone remember having toys and just making stuff up with them? I swear, some of the best "games" I played as a kid were just stories and things I did with whatever was lying around.

Guaranteed, some older person would complain about my newfangled toys compared to what they used to have, but the point remains... when you actually have to put your toys into a game to use them, it's not imagination anymore, and that makes me so sad. :(

Unfortunately, Spyro is not growing up, but this is a pretty interesting idea. It is more interesting if the portals can transfer from one console to another. While this may not be the most grown up way, the concept of bringing your character with you across platforms is pretty sweet. And if I was 9, I would want this.

This series has been a waste of time since Insomniac sold the IP.

Man, this is so much worse because Spyro was the first game I ever played on my PS1. It was a pretty amazing game and I've bought just about every one since. They were never really kiddie games. Cutesy, sometimes, but never purely for the kids, like this thing is. They were just outright fun while making something of an icon.

It feels a little...wrong to actually feel like saying, "Well, I think I'm done."

Fantastic game concept. Unbelievably bad character design.
People are going to buy Spyro's toy only to put a noose around it and hang it in their toybox of shame.

Looks about as compelling as any other Spiro game lol.

What happens when your kids chew the heads off the toys and throw them out the window though? Is that the end of the game?!?!

Oh christ, how did I miss the bottom.... It's going to be ranomly packaged crap sold in game shops in little sealed bags isn't it?
When will they learn that random packaged models painted by wage slaves in China are NO a good idea! http://www.dungeonsNdragons.com
