I hate to be a killjoy, but it looks cheap, like all their FightSticks.

And given the company, it'll break from looking at it wrong.

If by cheap you mean the complete opposite of cheap then ok.

And I'm going to assume you have never even touched, or for that matter LOOKED, at one of those fightsticks because you would know it feels like you would have to go out of your to way to even try to break it.

Yeah, gotta agree with Synergy here. While MadCatz may not make the best everything their fightsticks are Grade A. TE's are very durable and in it for the long haul.

@Red Runner

95% of the fighting community uses a Mad Catz fight stick.
I'm pretty sure the quality is amazing

I use one and it's the nicest thing ever and changed my entire view on Mad Catz.

No, wireless is not good for fighting games.

lol.....right. Because your wrist muscles can move faster than the wireless spectrum. Dude. Stop drinking the coolaid. That's the same argument all the FPS guys who insist on corded mice for their PC gaming. Which is so silly. It's 2011. If it's got a cord, it's not going in my living room.

@Nightmoore

You're an idiot.
No one wants a wireless fightstick in the fighting game community, don't pretend like you know what we want.

You realize that in games like street fighter, a lot of combos are executed with 1 frame links?
1 frame! That's 1/60th of a second.
If you wireless controller lags for even 1 frame, your timing is completely off. And if there's a lot of wireless cross talk, just forget about even playing.

In short, we don't want wireless fight sticks and if a major corporation like Mad Catz or Hori was to make one, we wouldn't buy them.
Which is fine, because they WONT make them because they understand that would be brand suicide.

@CaptainProtonX

Not having top screws is actually pretty shitty.
Yeah, aesthetically it looks nicer but its much harder to customize.
You can't even add a custom plexi top, which is something a lot of modders prefer to add to their current TE fightsticks.

Just wanted to let people know MarkMan said this is a prototype, and is in no means a final product.
They just needed to show something for E3.
