Devil's Third coming 'early 2013,' possibly to Wii U

Speaking to GAME Watch, Valhalla Game Studios head and apparent light sensitivity sufferer Tomonobu Itagaki offered a bit more clarification to the release window for his new action game, Devil's Third. He said that it won't be ready until early 2013. That narrows it down a bit -- we knew it was sometime in either 2012 or early 2013. Itagaki said that the game is 100% complete in terms of mechanics, but only "20-30%" done as a complete product.

Devil's Third's multiplayer mode is currently playable, Itagaki said, and the team is working to boost the maximum player count to 32, at which point he will feel they have "done a good job."

Itagaki is also considering a Wii U release, which is hardly surprising -- judging by the third-party sizzle reel, publisher THQ is deeply into the platform. Itagaki himself thinks the Wii U is a good idea for Japanese homes without space for multiple televisions, and is "very excited" about possibly getting his game onto the new console.

Nope. Wii U operates on the principles of 4D space and thus nullifies the need for something so pedestrian as " television".

After seeing ninja gaiden 3 I can't wait to see devil third some how i feel it going to be a superior game.

I think after the Wii U name starts to grow on people, most of the criticism will start to die down. Most journalists I know said the cobtroller was light and comfortable and didn't feel awkward at all. I know a lot of people are dissapointed Ninty witheld their first party lineup for the console, but don't worry, in due time, Ninty will be blowing our minds again.

See... technical jargon aside, people were poking fun at the fact that the Wii U trailer reel for upcoming games used PS360 footage... but I think they are going to be in for a real shocker next e3 when PS4 and 720 get shown off and the graphics look right on par with what Wii U will be displaying that year as well.

Well I have 0% Proof...but from what I can tell from the Sizzle they showed...it looks like it will just be on the same level as far as visuals..I didn't see a difference between WiiU's Tekken and PS3/360 Tekken 6..Unless someone else did? I saw it taking advantage of that cool screen controller..but not visually better...not 50% Better anyway :0 I think I would no a difference With 50% we all would I think.. :)
