Four Swords doesn't need online, the thing about that game is you kinda of need to be in the same room to communicate, and no voice chat isn't the same.

@Nergy
True. I think people keep bringing that up because the main issue with this game back then was finding someone who not only had the same game, but also the cable to connect. Both of those problems are automatically solved this time around, so hopefully it has a better run.

Did you even read my comment?
I know they are putting this out for free, which is great. And I love zelda, I just doubted they will put out an updated version for free.

The winner of the "no shit" award goes to....

I cannot believe someone thought this warranted an article. I look forward to more hard hitting journalism such as "New modern warfare game to include guns" and "Lara Croft is a female character in the upcoming reboot". I ain't hating but wow, this just seems like the most obvious thing in the world.

@craigbo 180

I believe your faux award is the definition of "hating".

Online play would be great, but I won't hold my breath, this is DSiWare, not 3DSWare.

I don't think updated visuals are necessary, the original Four Swords looked great as it is. I just hope it plays in full DS resolution, not in GBA resolution with a border around it.

Oh wow just went to the article where you called it four swords adventures even though they actually announced at as four swords in the first place and proceeded to be confused about how a gamecube game would work on the system.

Well damn.

The real news here is that the 3DS store is going to have GBA games. I'm hoping for some of the classics to come to the VC. Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission would be nice, the 25th Metroid anniversary is coming up.

I'm just pleased that this underappreciated game is getting a second-chance. The barrier to entry will be greatly reduced.

joystiq, you are expecting for too much from a free Nintendo game.

I don't think I ever played this one because I think you needed a cart for each person and while we had the other gear, no multiple carts.

I did play and enjoy with a GBA, FSA on cube. I was suprised they never did a FS for DS specifically, and have that online.
