Or say you're bidding on mystery substance in bag! Could be worth anywhere from $1-100,000,000

@Gmail Calendar Rep How can you call it shit? Most Gameloft games are worthy copies of their source material. And until all the other companies get with the times and start making good iOS/Android games at least we have Gameloft to provide us with decent clones of good games! Just my opinion...

Say what you want about it, but Gameloft brings the games that will NEVER see mobile ports into, well, mobile devices...and actually manages to do it with style and quality and recapture the feel those games had.

Except that generally for real world and not fairytale, ends are only things remaining in the history of victors and means are the things the loosing side is known for ;)

So when the games they copy come to IOS then will Gameloft remove their crappy clones?

Will they hell as.

And also look at that Final Fantasy clone they have. That was released AFTER Square's FF "spin off".

Your opinion doesn't float. Gameloft are just idiots.

@Tihn I love how people try to say Eternal Legacy is a Final Fantasy rip (yeah I get the name rip) ,but it doesn't really play like any of them. It's got an odd JRPG feel but it doesn't play like any FF game I've played which is all of them.

Gangstar: West Coast Hustle HD is just about the worst game I have ever installed onto my iPad.

You're right about GS: West Coast Hustle, but GS: Miami Vindication is a lot better. Is it GTA? No. But so far it's the closest to that style we have and I think it's a lot of fun. So far Rockstar has just given us Chinatown Wars, and it's an awesome game. But I like the 3rd person over-the-shoulder style better than the 3rd person from above style. So, until Rockstar puts one of those out Gangstar: MV will do!

@Esposch Just a thought, maybe if they released their games on iOS they might still be here. Nintendo platforms are not for the 3rd parties unless you are crazy famous.

Only because that one-hit-wonder has quickly been ported to every platform known to man.

I hear it will be backported to SNES and Sega Genesis sometime in 2012. The SNES version will of course be the better version, but the Genesis version will have a blood code.

Gameloft deserves it. There are very few companies producing iOS games that have any sort of quality control. Gameloft games might not be original, but they control well, have few bugs, and provide hours of quality gaming at a decent price on iOS.

If 'big' developers want to start making quality iOS version of their games (like Dead Space, or Tiger Woods 12) instead of shit iOS games (like Mass Effect Galaxy, Assassin's Creed, or Resident Evil 4), people will buy the real iOS games instead of Gameloft's copies.

@AirIntake

The iOS version of Assassin's Creed was made by Gameloft. In fact, all of Ubisoft's iOS games are made by Gameloft.

I read somewhere that Gameloft and Ubisoft were founded by the same guy (Yeves Guillemont?).

@tendoboy1984 Didn't notice that. Either way, the Ass Creed 1 game is just a port of the DS version, and the Ass Creed 2 game is a 2D game very similar to the 2D Mirror's Edge iOS game. Both are completely linear, unlike the actual Ass Creed series. They might be alright games by themselves, but they are in no way an attempt to bring the actual Ass Creed games to portable devices.
