Square Enix offers chance to meet Nobuo Uematsu in London

Are you going to be around London on November 5? Would you like to meet longtime Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu at the sold-out "Distant Worlds" concert? Will you be able to show enough restraint to leave your Cait Sith costume at home?
Square Enix Members is offering EU residents a pair of VIP tickets to the event at London's Royal Albert Hall, along with access to a post-show reception during which you'll be able to meet Mr. Uematsu and tell him in person how much you love the music from Rad Racer. All you have to do is sign into your Square Enix Members account, answer a " very (seriously,very) simple question" and you're entered.

NOOOOO!!! Why'd I have to take my semester abroad 5 years ago!!! If only I waited until now...and with six extra years of college....

LoL I swear the logo reminds me of "Sturdy Wings" from ROLE MODELS. Regardless, I wouldn't mind seeing that show.

I remember tearing up in FF 7 when the 1st Caith Sith decided to kill himself in the temple...the music evoked a lot of emotion from me in that game....

I'm playing through FF7 again and am approaching that part soon. Gonna have to get a box of tissues.

@Tradio The Oath from FF8 was the big Nobuo song for me. The moment the doc told Squall that all the students were waiting for him to say something as the leader. Yea, haven't had a feeling like that in Final Fantasy before and havent felt one since.

My life wouldn't be what it is today without his music. And the associated games, of course.

Maybe some of you are going there, and would be willing to tell him - remind him - he's one of the most important gaming artists ever ?

Best videogame composer ever, and its not even close. Even his Black Mages cds are awesome.

I'm going to Distant Worlds in Chicago next week, cannot wait!!!

Met him at New York for Distant Worlds! He's a really cool guy. We were only allowed to get 1 item autographed, but he autographed 5 for me. He's the man.

The ultimate concert for me would possibly include Nobuo Uematsu, Koji Kondo, Masashi Hamauzu, Hitoshi Sakimoto, Shogo Sakai, Shogi Meguro, Masami Ueda, Inon Zur, and Jeremy Soule. There might never be such a concert, but holy hell would my brain explode if there was.

Already have my ticket ready and waiting, but it'd be great to have all that extra stuff.
