By far the most random, obscure bit of news today: Onechanbara 2 has been listed by UK retailer Play.com for Xbox 360, with a February 2012 launch date. The listing lacks any detail on whether this is some revamp of the 2005 PS2 title featuring the same name or a follow-up to the Xbox 360 game, Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad, released in 2009.
We've followed up with D3 Publisher for a statement on the authenticity of the listing and its plans (if any) to launch the title in North America.

Can't be any worse than the original.

I hated the Wii version. Felt ripped off at just $15.

Urgghhh.... I couldn't even get through the first level.
Game sold for only 1 reason and I now feel like a sucker.

And people call Duke Nukem tasteless and pandering.

@Red Runner Duke needs to grow up. I seen a video of him taking a leak on a boss monster after he dropped him. I was like, "come on Duke is that really necessary?"

This game will be garbage. I have not seen videos, played a demo or even know the basic premise of the story. It will be pure garbage though. Promise.

Wii game was... well, a Wii Game.
360 game, was and still is one of my personal favorites, not because of the use of skin, but the overall feel of the swords... and the feel of the upgrade system actually rewarding you.
Truth be told, not many games truly reward for getting the player to think outside the box, and Onechanbara does it by forcing players to really fine tune their playstyle.
I admit, due to the game being primarily targeted at Japanese gamers, the Manual is only there to warn you about epilepsy, and for credits. This really makes navigating the map nearly impossible, and for anyone that owns DMC or Ninja Gaiden games, this game pales at first glance, But overall I put MORE time into Onechanbara, and after the first few hours, it easily took the right below Bayonetta for Hack and slash games.

For what it's worth - the manual that came with the game is mostly useless. Search the 'net and you should be able to find the HUGE, real manual as a .pdf file. (if not, maybe I can post it somewhere)
Anyone who has this game sitting around gathering dust might be interested in seeing what all is in the game that you likely know nothing about. I'm not going to say it'll make you like the game, but it might give you a better appreciation for what the devs were trying to do.

I wouldn't trust it until it's officially announced. This is the same website which listed Pilotwings Wii for pre-order before E3 even started this year, when to our knowledge no such title has ever been rumoured to be in development. The listing is still there is you search, two weeks after it wasn't revealed.
