The Killzone 3 team is celebrating the release of the From the Ashes DLC this week with a triple XP party this weekend. From Friday to Sunday, all of the XP earned in multiplayer matches will be tripled, whether it's in the new DLC maps or just in the standard game.
Hopefully this also means that the Helghast forces will learn three times as fast that you just can't keep the ISA down. Sometimes that's a tough lesson to learn.

SPOILER
It's been a while since i played, but I remember something about Stahl outfitting most of his fleet with nukes. He really wanted to destroy Earth and since he's their largest weapons developer, I don't see why he wouldn't arm all his ships with nukes.

MOAR SPOILERS (i guess)
I don't even know how Rico would have known there were nukes on the ships? I dunno it was just completely out of the blue to me when playing it and kinda ruined the end of the game I thought.

@den69 It was all a bit sudden, Endings are something ALOT of people get wrong. Weather its games, Films or music.
I was disappointed by it. It could have benefited from better writing.

The whole campaign was a bit lackluster to me. I absolutely loved Killzone 2, and I felt that its campaign was fantastic. KZ3's story was just a step backwards. The multiplayer, to stay on topic, is still as good as ever. If anyone happens to hop online for some KZ3 this weekend, look for me. :)

I'm by no means good at this game, but I routinely get 1000-2000 XP in a single match and end up in the middle of the squad by the end.
Last night, I earned 5000 XP and 6000 XP in two separate games, mostly due to a few medals.
Due to winning those matches, and the Triple XP, those points turned into 22,000 and 28,000 XP each. Needless to say, Triple XP is very, very, very good. :-)
