Encase your Xbox 360 in a vault, win a suit of Gears 3 armor

Calibur11 has announced the coming arrival of its custom Xbox 360 Gears of War 3 "Bleed Out" vault. Pictured above, the vault features a controller cradle, grim graphics and an illuminated "Crimson Omen" icon. The icon will actually interact with Gears of War 3, glowing red whenever players are downed within the game (to which you should be paying more attention).

Presumably to convince people that it's a good idea to encase their Xbox 360 in plastic, each vault will also include a chance to win a life-size suit of COG armor (pictured here). Retailing for $90, the vault will be available when Gears of War 3 launches later this year.

Vaults are the new faceplates?

While I like the Gears of War 3 360 that comes out later this year, I don't really care for this. Also, wouldn't work well if your system is in an entertainment center. Not to mention its only for 360 slims...

That looks pretty cool. If I had a 360 and some extra money I might be inclined to buy that... Also, I think that glowing icon is awesome.

And, honestly, that looks like someone designed an "extreme" gardenhose holder. I'm imagining some metal head with an obsession with rutabaga having this holding the hose on the side of his house.

What an awful second place prize. I already have tons of hoodies like that

Wonder if the symbol on the side red lights when the system overheats from all the additional plastic on top of it?

As for the suit, elements of it are cool but if you read the print you are missing many of the elements featured in the picture. Probably why it costs so little as you would have to drop another couple hundred to get it to the same standards as in the picture.

I foresee this causing some kinda over heating.

I don't care about all the negative comments. The damn thing glows when you have a downed teammate in GOW 3 Multiplayer!!!! Is it just me or is that not pretty damn cool?
