What the hell cave. Why waste time and money on an iOS version instead of an PSP/DS version?

@ZeroViper they seen to sell well. Personally I find them unplayable but to be honest Even on the big screen I'm not good at bullet hell shooters. To each their own I guess.

It's not a waste of time and money. It will probably sell well because
a: There are more iDevices out there than DSes or PSPs.
b: It is cheaper than it would be on a handheld, so people won't think much about buying it.

I would prefer it on a regular handheld, but this is probably a smart business choice.

Also, DS games don't sell and PSP games only sell in Japan. DS is also probably not powerful enough (Ketsui only got a boss rush, after all) and wouldn't look very good. 3DS might make sense (it would be in the spotlight since there aren't many games for it), or maybe not.

@ZeroViper

Cause it wouldn't sell well on the PSP and DS.

Actually, I find that touchscreen is my preferred mode of control for bullet hells. Or at least, it's the first control method that I've managed to play decently well with. I can't seem to coordinate all the bullet dodging and grazing with a joystick, but it comes naturally with the touchscreen.

@KazamaSogetsu It controls better there,seriously. They had to consider bumping the difficulty up to compensate for the pixel accuracy of their thumbpad control scheme. Look it up.

@rahnyc4 "Real gamers" tend to weigh at least 300lbs and don't leave their mother's basement. Not a group I'd want to identify with.

@rahnyc4 Wow, you're so cool with your gamer pride. I bet all the women in your city flock to you and your alleged "cute" gamer mannerisms.

@rahnyc4 Those who claim themselves are "real gamers" are generally the youngsters (or insecure/uneducated adults) of the community. Real gamers are open to all types of gaming, not just Call of Duty on a 360.

Fantastic. Been waiting for this for ages. Espgaluda II has been a huge favorite of mine and the control scheme is spot on. The ability to play one handed as well during the morning commute is pretty handy too. Cave have got their other conversions spot on on the App Store and I expect this to be as well.
