If I could only pick one game that was released in 2011, it would have to be this. Seriously, EDF 2017 is one of those games you either love or hate, and I love it for how much fun I've had and even today still am having trying to beat Inferno difficulty.

Hoping for much more content and refinement, this sequel looks to deliver.

@MrMagicMushroom
It is confusing though that hardest isn't the highest difficulty.

As long as I can still take down a skyscraper from 10 miles away with a single rocket, I will be happy.

Rebuild Detroit? Why?

It's always been like that.

I just wish for fun games like this they would fire the release up on Friday before a holiday weekend. Seems a shame to END a holiday weekend with this. But still excited :)

Wow, one rocket and every building perfectly goes down like a planned demolition.

A building falling down with a single rocket... that's EDF for ya! And I wouldn't want it any other way.

Best part of EDF was leveling a city while trying to destroy a few alien robots. Sure, I could've strafed to the side of that building... But shooting straight through it seemed much more direct!

Why not just nuke the place instead of destroying it one building at a time?

Taking down entire structures with a single explosive from 15 miles away, hilarious voice acting, ridiculous weapons (a firecracker? Really!?), no fall damage, missiles that travel at walking speed (Air Tortise anyone?) and lots of laughs. That's EDF and I don't want it any other way.
