I personally thought Zoo Tycoon was good. Come on Microsoft, do Zoo Tycoon 3, help the little guys.

Whoa, first a rash of hacking, then a ton of layoffs/studio closings.. This is a sad time in the video game industry. :(

@ShokLoc
Almost seems like the start to another game industry crash.

"a really depressing theme is presenting itself today. "

Are you serious? The fiscal quarter is over. You almost always hear about this stuff the day or week or so afterwards.

"Best of luck to all affected -- and stay away from companies with colors in their names for a while."

What an odd coincidence that they all have colors in their name. Or if Goldfinger is to believed, "Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action."

Zoo Tycoon has always been a guilty pleasure of mine, so this news saddens me. I still have my fingers crossed for a zoo tycoon 3 though!

Blue Fang doesn't work for Microsoft anymore, so there most likely won't be a new Zoo Tycoon by Blue Fang. I definitely say Blue Fang going casual was a really bad Idea. :(
