Even though football might do 'gangbusters' here in the UK - we're as sik of the yearly updates to EA's sports games as much as anyone else.

I'll be picking up FIFA every second year from now on.

@byaboy
It definetly does not use Frostbite, I think you might have got confused because BF3 is using the EA Sports animation system?

Though the Collisions and the Real Injury system (or whatever it's called) are very, very impressive looking.

instead of the cards, why don't they just discount the retail price of the game by 20%?

@JRMG it's to keep people playing for at least 6 months and BTW the packs are about £2.00 times by 24 that's £48 so you are kind of being paid to play the game by a few £

EA release it for US! :(

While we may have as many fans as our Europe friends across the pond, some of us still love football.

The EA representative that visited out GAME store this week told us that this year the Ultimate Team system would be launching day 1 rather than there being a wait like last year.

Is there going to be a standard edition? The RRP for the Ultimate Edition is £55 and the Ultimate Team DLC hasn't even been free itself in the past.

Wow.

I bought 10 and I'm pretty sure ultimate team was free in 11, so I thought it would be free in 12 but seriously...

They give you a 'zomg PRE ORDER BONUS!!' and then you have to buy the DLC to actually access it.

It's like Including a free map pack with an FPS... but only when you pay £10 for ANOTHER map pack...

Hi. Its my first time preordering any game. I just wanted to know how the preorder bonus works. Is it included in the game or the store gives it seperately.
