To be honest, I forgot that the Japanese PSN wasn't live yet. No wonder I kept getting error messages when trying to sign in.

I wasn't able to redeem my free UK games with my UK account after getting the US ones, I doubt the free Japanese ones will work either.

The EU downloads worked just fine for me as well (except for James Pond, which wasn't a huge loss).

I can now activate & start playing Killzone 3, Socom 4 and Homefront - which have been crippled with "You can not access this content" messages for the past 3 months.
(Can't access store, so I cant unlock the games using the codes inside the box.)
