this trailer makes me think of what a kinect-controlled version of mirror's edge would be like

@ravissimo

hmmm, other ideas. make need for speed: the run... a running game or prison break: escape.

have a timer for cops chasing you, too many mistakes in choosing your path, you get caught, etc.
easy mode: just as shown in the trailer, you choose path and obstacles, etc.
hard mode: something harder?
hardcore mode: you actually have to run to escape, no assisted running.
online mode: you can be a runner or a cop on foot, multiplayer chases.

make it ubisoft or EA with some frostbite 2 thrown in. have obstacles falling down and roadblocks and stuff like racing games. that'd get your adrenaline pumping.

Thank GOD something actually pretty cool looking for the Kinect...

Well, besides Ryse of course, but so far all we've seen is a fancy trailer that very well might be exaggerating what all you can do...

@APV

gah me too. Mirror's Edge is one of my top 10 favorite video games. the gameplay was just so much fun. and i love doing to the time trials; picking through them slowly to figure out a good path, and then nailing on a perfect run feels so good.

I didn't see a gun... But, then again, that's probably why we didn't see a gun...

Buttons FTW!!!!

For some reason I thought he was talking about the 1988 game Cabal they should redo that for Kinect as an XBLA game.

This is just further proof that people need to stop trying to make shooters with Kinect and think up new kinds of games, like this.

So wait, again we have something that's not even made FOR the xbox? Again the most exciting things generated in the kinect world are stories by people making things for free on their own time that wont see the light of day on the system that it's supposedly selling.

You know something the Move may have nothing in the way of a fan dev community but at least Sony's making games that specifically actually USE it decently.

It's hilarious - I keep seeing "this is the first cool thing for Kinect" comments with every new Kinect project or upcoming game that's been popping up for the past few months. ...Dance Central - this is the only good ready to buy a Kinectr. Children of Eden - finally, something that takes advantage of the Kinect. Ryse of Nightmares - "Now this is the first good thing I've seen on the Kinect". That hologram project posted a few days ago "Wow, finally a reason to buy the Kinect". Plus the dozens of other tech demos that spawned more "finally someone is taking advantage...blah blah blah..".

Some people will never get over how awesome and successful Kinect has been. Hell, Wii has been #1 forever and lots of people still dismiss it. It must be nice under that bridge they live under, but you, me and others know the score.

@Elzio De Auditore @CleanUndies

You don't need buttons for a game like this. Did you even bother to click the link to the original? It's a browser games which uses 1 button. There is literally no button limitation on PC, yet it's a one button game. Surprisingly, some people don't require lots of buttons to have fun. This looks fun.

Lol people are still trying to develop games for the Kinect? They'll be gutted when they find out the gesture control is far from 1:1.

I'm one programmer of this project. Thank if you like our game, sorry if you dislike it.
We thought to implement Guns, Mind Control power, ... And many other feature but 3 months limit the possibilites :)

If you have question I can try to answer...
