Who knows, maybe I'll actually get this Final Fantasy game! I'm not a fan, but it looks fairly interesting to me compared to the others.

The...Theath, wait. Thee-ath-rhythm? How the hell am I supposed to pronounce this? I mean, I though Doudecim whatever was ridiculous, but now it's like you're TRYING to confuse me.

@The Blank Mage Returns And don't try to tell me it's 'Theater Rhythm', there aren't enough Rs or Es and we all know it.

@The Blank Mage Returns Looks like they tried to combine "theater" and "rhythm" together in one word. I'm guessing it would sound similar to saying the two together.

It's my believe Squenix just ran out of try story ideas and said "Let's just make the titles uncontrollable now."

@The Blank Mage Returns I guess you start saying "Theatre" and switch to "rhythm" once you get to the 'r'. Still better than Final Fantasy Duodecim Versus Agito 734/12 Random Latin The After Years.

They've been doing that alot. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Dissidia FInal Fantasy Duodecim Prologus, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance(this one isn't hard to pronounce but I'm fairly sure it was constructed with a dart board and a couple of drunks.

@Suichimo Dream Drop Distance is extra hilarious, because it's obvious they were going for three d-words (for 3D) and alliteration like that usually sounds ok no matter what you do with it, but it's like they discovered that two "dr-" words in a row follow by a "d-vowel-" word are difficult to say so they specifically went with that on purpose.

Judging by the rate it take them to release any of their other games on iOS, I wouldn't recommend holding your breath.

@baby sea tuna Sadly true but this would be a fun $2 app. No way is it worth more.

"true but this would be a fun $2 app. No way is it worth more."

But the multiplayer is a blast and definitly worth the asking price, especially with the AR sections, dont you think?

@yomachaser How could you possibly decide the game's worth after reading roughly three sentences of description in this post? I don't think Square Enix is the most trustworthy developer (or publisher) these days but you're bound to miss a lot of great games if you pass judgment immediately after they're revealed.

@Electrium Honestly? I've been burned by them so my recently that I don't value SE much anymore. I wish it wasn't so ,but they have been making pretty mediocre stuff (IMO) for a while.

But when I said I valued the game at max $2 you have understand that I was clearly talking about the iOS market so if this game is actually fun it would still make them millions.

For those acheing on ho to phoneically manage this mushy title, its a marriage between the words Theatre and Rhythm. My best guess is (The-ah-tryth-um)

They're making terrible titles unpronounceable so when you're trying to tell someone how terrible it is... you won't be able to call it by name. :)

You later:
"Ugh... that Thee... thatry... that music Final Fantasy game is terrible!"

If this game has remixes of classic Final Fantasy music to play to, I might be interested in it. Final boss should be an epic 20-minute Dancing Mad level.

I...i just don't know what to say. Square has the worst planners ever. WHO THE HELL THOUGHT THIS WAS GOOD?! (and its a bit late to be doing this as the rhythm craze has gone down a bit) Honestly if you want to milk a cow, do it in its prime.

And other places are like "Why wasn't this sooner?"

Honestly, I want the mobile games Heroes of Light and Darkness as 3DS ware/PSN title myself.

Sounds great if they've made it into a proper full-fledged game that can really compete on a level with Ouendan / Elite Beat Agents.

Sounds less great if this is basically a phone game that they're going to sell on 3DS for $40 before they release it on iPhone/Android for $5.

From the one screenshot, it kind of looks like the latter, but to be fair that's only one screenshot.
