Now if only they would let adults play whatever game they want they would impress me.

They can start by passing the 18+ rating. No serious game developer would be caught dead making games in the country most infamous for its ridiculous gaming censorship.

@PointlessPuppies

Did you forget that probably the most mature game ever has just come out of Sydney?

Let's just hope the tax breaks don't all go to the rich gaming companies that don't need it as much as the smaller companies that really "need a break".

This is the worst spam ever. It's just advertising the basic idea of web design?

The top three countries when it comes to Video Game development. USA, UK & Japan?

Our Government dropped the proposed tax breaks for the industry, which is totally reasonable seeing as gaming is a fringe hobby enjoyed by only a minority of people. What a bunch of tossers.

@Tristanjl

I never knew that. I was aware they had a large film industry & a lot of actors I thought were American, turned out to be Canadians.

I could see them becoming as big as canada in the gaming industry. both countries have similar populations and it's not too hard to persuade talented people to move to oz

@Genaldar

It really depends on what skills you have, how much you will make, what country you are coming from and if a company is willing to sponsor you.

you can get a 1 year work/holiday visa extremely easily and if you find a company willing to sponsor you, while you are there, you're good to go.
