Resident Evil games assembled in 15th Anniversary Box

Without looking, we'd like for you to tell us where all of your various and sundry Resident Evil games are located right now. Your copy of Resident Evil 4 is out of its box, lying face-up on the entertainment center? Code Veronica is in a box in the attic? Resident Evil 2 is in the oven? You clearly need a better way of keeping tabs on them -- like, for instance, having nearly all of the franchise's main entries enclosed in Capcom's recently announced 15th Anniversary Box.

The bundle, which will be available in Japan through e-Capcom this September, contains the three PSOne Resident Evils, Revival Selection (the HD remastering of RE4 and Code Veronica) and soundtracks for the two games in the Revival Selection.

Resident Evil 5 is not included in the package, but the Box does include a spacer in which to keep your copy. Voila! No more scratched, misplaced or broiled discs.

Similarly though, where's the Wii bundle? With the gamecube remake of 1, Zero, and the ported RE3 and Code Veronica? C'mon Capcom!

Not exclusively. Afaik they were also rereleased on Gamecube and Dreamcast so it's not outside of the realm of possibility...though given all of the half-assed rereleases, remixes, and reimaginings that Capcom has been pushing over the past 3 or so years, I wouldn't count on it.

And 2 months later there will be a 'Gold' version with more stuff, but you'll have to pay Capcom to unlock it, though the disc is right there in the box.

what Capcom really needs to do is "HD-ify" the Gamecube exclusives. i'm sure a lot of people never got to play those by passing on the Gamecube, and whatever exclusivity deal they had must be up by now, no?

It is an awesome little collection of stuff they've out together there. I hope it gets a US release. I won't be one of the people getting it, as I've already bought both of those games twice.

And another cheap cash-in on previous releases to commemorate a celebration point has arrived.

Let's not put the the Dreamcast REs or GameCube REs on the discs. Noooooooo. That's an extra week of coding.

And we need a pretty box too. The only slight saving grace is this is $80 or so. But the components bought separately with the EXACT same coding costs half the price.

@CaptainProtonX Maybe they didn't put the Dreamcast versions in here because it would be like going to buy the original Star Wars trilogy and find it has been changed from "original", to being filled with all those digital changes they've made to it so it ties in better with the new trilogy. That's stupid. An in sure I it said the Dreamcast versions people would just go pay next to nothing for them and not buy this set.

What about Resi Remake and Resi 0? This is not a proper collection without them. The remake is far superior to the original; the extra section being incredibly creepy.

WTF am I supposed to do with PS1 discs? PS1 died more than a decade ago. If they're going to release this at least update the discs so the games work with PS3 or wait for PS4 to come out. What a waste: Buy 3 games you can't play (the majority of people most likely don't have their PS1 any more) and get 2 games on a disc for PS3 that were already released on other systems. For 80 bucks?! Get more inventive Capcom.

I'm almost happy that this boxed set isn't coming stateside, otherwise I'd be forced to buy it for the dusty shelf collection.

In response to the first paragraph, my only copy of any RE game is on my video game shelf, in the PS1 section, Resident Evil 3.

Now if I could only simultaneously run AND shoot, I might think about getting this...
