The "anorexic" part can also be applied to the women in the Natural Instincts hair-coloring commercial.

Looks sexy! I've never owned an F1 game, though I do enjoy the small amounts I have played at arcades or in the GT series. Anyone had experience with the older titles as I am considering this. : /

Codemasters has only done f1 2010 and it was alright. If you like the arcade side of racing. It was kinda in a bad place. Too arcadey to be considered by the sim crowd and too realistic to be fully enjoyed by the arcade group. Aside from a few glaring bugs though it was pretty good.

I am tentatively excited for the sequel.

F1 2010 is really good, cheap on Steam atm but the 360 version plays just as well

@DrunkRaba F1 2010 had flaws but if your a fan you'll overlook them and enjoy it. Challenging and some times buggy but overall solid and fun.

@DV8ing1 Alrighty thank you. I generally prefer more of a sim racer but can do the arcade thing as well. I love me my GT as well as Motorstorm. Each end of the spectrum just seems to take a different mind set or attitude.

Doesn't look like it replaces "F1: Formula One Championship Edition" as my choice of F1 racing.

Studios Liverpool (Psygnosis back in the day) owned my love for F1 since Formula 1 on the Playstation.

the only way to make this game real is to make it boring just like the real formula 1 these days...

Formula 1 boring these days? You might be confused with IndyCar racing.

@Daniele The NFL changes it's rules every year....is it boring? Rules changes are part of sports, especially motorsports, and DOUBLE especially part of F1, where the technology grows by leaps and bounds, year to year.

@jblank

in the nfl they change rules for the players safety..lately in f1 most of the changes are due to increase some excitement on the track..it's a fact that in past years is was hard to see a car overtake another one..

listen im not here to bash on this sport..i used to be a fan (been to several races),but now i can only watch it once in a while..

@Daniele I'm not sure you know as much about the sport as you put on, but whatever, you missed my point.

i'd love to love codemasters but every game i've bought (8 or so) is always a double edged sword. there's a ton to like, but equal amounts to dislike.

their titles stink a bit of abandoneware. release, dlc, dlc, small inadequate patch, on to the next game. they leave lingering problems and instead of fixing them, move on.

i've bought dirt 1,2,3, grid, and f1 2010, but doubt i'll buy any more until they increase the level of initial quality in their products, because i know the issues won't get fixed after.

"the racing game for fans who think regular cars look fat"

Or for, you know, fans of high speed circuit racing.

It's a shame Codemasters have pissing all over PC fans with some of their comments lately. Are we really not worth it Codemasters? If that is the case, then your not worth giving my hard earned cash to. Works both ways you know!

Link? I want to see...

In addition Codemasters have been doing well with their PC ports of games. Nice DX11 features with DiRT 2 and DiRT 3, among other few PC exclusive features.

The only thing that annoys me with their games is that they refuse to use something other then Games for Windows - LIVE. -.-

Good for you that DX11 works in DiRT3 works well because for me, it crash's every time I play the game and Codemasters excuse was weak to say the least IMO. I volunteer for a company that deals with the exact problems Codemasters have with DX11 on certain PC's. But it seems to me that they would rather spend their money on on marketing rather than making a game that works for everyone. I understand that coding for PC is hard, I really do, but that doesn't excuse their actions!

My point about the PC crowd and we aren't worth the effort;

"The PC is a much smaller audience compared to console," Hood told us "so there’s no way we can dedicate resources to getting it working only for PC."

http://www.incgamers.com/News/28404/consoles-cant-handle-24-players-online-in-f1-2011

It's not right at all, DICE have no problems making sure the PC crowd are taken care of properly. Codemasters are just lazy/tight with their money!
