How are they going to get Mew? I guess they could always find the Truck next to the cruise ship... Oh wait, that was bull crap. I'm so gullible. >:(

Hell yes Pokemon! Hell yes charity!

@Frostblade10 There are working glitches to catch Mew. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r74vohXFszA for example.

Im not saying that video isn't genuine, Ive heard of this before but can someone please explain to me how/why this glitch works? it seems so incredibly random.

and would something like this probably be released by a dev? finding this by chance seems impossible. exciting stuff though.

@(Unverified) We're using the Pokémon Events. We have copies of them stored on a game we're not going to be playing so we can trade it over to our game. We'll be using these event Pokémon:

Pikachu (Ash's), Dragonite, Mew, Pichu (Shiny), Entei (Shiny), Suicune (Shiny), Raikou (Shiny), Celebi, Deoxys, Jirachi, Manaphy (TRU), Heatran (Ranger 3), Shaymin, Darkrai, Arceus, and Victini (caught early during the Liberty Pass Event).

The ones that require going from Generation IV to Generation V will be done and caught how they usually are. We're also going to be doing the HeartGold/SoulSilver Arceus event to get a Giratina.

So jealous. I lost about half those legendaries named when my game crashed 6 about months ago. Just seeing their names made me a little sad. Anyway, GOOD LUCK!

I've done it before and it works. Supposedly each Pokemon has a unique ID attached to it. So, by doing that series of events you can force the wild pokemon that appears to have that number.

Considering nine games are running at once, I'm thinking they can do it. The Speed Gamers have done it with the third and possibly fourth generations if I remember correctly with two or three games running at once in the same amount of time.

@MEMgrizzlies7 I caught all of the new pokemon in Black and White in less than 100 hours, and they have two people for that generation. I'm not too worried.

Generation V pokedex (non-National) seems the easiest to fill of all generations to be honest. Maybe they decided to take it easy on us for this one time?

The games selected were probably chosen in such a way so that all pokemon can be caught.

72 Hours? To catch a Feebas?

Good luck with that... Maybe if they teamed up Diamond and Pearl versions and worked at the same time they could cut the time it takes in half.

Feebas can be obtained in B/W post game VERY easily. To the point people got upset because people think it devalued the other two generations worth of Feebas/Milotic!!

Yeah, it was one of the biggest controversies this year including: No in game berry growing and No Vs Seekers rematch with ordinary trainers.

Let's kill ourselves....FOR THE CHILDREN!!

*raises steins*

YES! FOR THE CHILDREN!!!

The only problem they'd have is Celebi, Victini, Jirachi and Mew. All the others should be in game I think. Also, some are late game only!! Watch those roamers!!

@Bluebreaker We're using event Pokémon that will be transferred from a game that we're not using. All of the Pokémon will be legitimate. There are three Pokémon that cannot be caught, however.

Diamond and Pearl, but NOT platinum?
I hope they have the patience to endure how slow Diamond and Pearl play, because Platinum played a lot faster.

@RupeeClock Platinum has a 50/50 chance of giving you one of the fossil Pokémon, plus the Looker segments took longer. The Pokédex was also extended, so getting the National Pokédex was even harder because there were more trainers.

It's not possible to catch them all. Some are limited time download events.

& how are they able to stream these live? Have they managed to get a DS with a video-out, or are they pirating? Because if they are pirating I will not be donating.

It'll probably be one of the few times a ROM is used legally. As long as they can prove they own the original carts then they can use an emulator and a ROM without it being classed as pirating

@jimbo8e6 Only cartridges and official consoles. We'll be using webcams for the six DS games and capture cards for the two Gameboy Advance games via the Gameboy Player.

@den69 the only possible way would be: start game, get starter 1, transfer to version X, reset, get starter 2, transfer, reset, get starter 3, transfer the other 2 back

I think that's still legit

Do they have to catch all the pokemon every games or they have to get all the pokemon in total so like they catch a caterpie in fire red do they still have to catch one in heart gold and this doesn't include shiny pokemon right?
