It's here, WayForward's debut in the PlayStation family! If we all work really hard, we can convince Shantae to join the party!

Meh, Brotherhood is $29.99 pretty much everywhere so this isn't much of a sale. Plus I gave up on AC after the lackluster part two. If it were $19.99 I might have given AC another go but I think I'll pass.

@eat it I agree, I only got through a couple of hours in the game when I turned it off feeling this was the same as ACII. I've been thinking of giving it another try, but honestly with so many games coming out with that "fresh" feel to them I think the AC series will continue on without me.

do you mean lackluster in general? Or lackluster compared to the first? Because if its compared to the first...i will find you, and i will speak in a negative tone to you for an extended period of time.

Just goes to show, there are some sick people out there who will find ANYTHING to complain about in any game, regardless of how good it is.

Yeah, it feels the same as ACII because it pretty much is. Think of it as AC2.5, or even act 2 of a 3 act story, Revelations being act 3. I know this, yet I still love it. ACII was fantastic, best game I've played in a while, and Brotherhood just continues that success.

AC1 had me sitting on benches. SITTING ON BENCHES. Repeatedly. This was gameplay. It's unforgivable. I paid $60 to sit on a bench in a game. Granted, it was a bench in medieval Jerusalem, but still.

AC1 lacked any coherent storytelling or flow to its missions, thus they all felt like wash, rinse repeat.. Oh, let me go to town A, quadrant 1, climb three towers, sit on 1 bench, pick 1 pocket, stalk 1 guy, then kill my mark. Then I'll do exactly the same thing in the same order in quadrant 2.

@Hoops

It's included on the disc for Dead Space 2. If you want both games, just buy DS2. But I've played it for a couple of hours and it's pretty fun. It provides a lot of backstory for the first Dead Space. I'm not sure how much fun it would be single player, but I've been playing it co-op with my brother and we've had quite a bit of fun with it.

Actually, it's only included in the first run, "Limited Edition" version of DS2. f you're in a store, and there's a "Limited Edition" across the top, you're good (the case should also say that it included Extraction). Otherwise, if you're ordering online or something, it's probably the normal version, which DOESN'T have it.

All copies of the Collector's Edition (with the plasma gun replica and everything) come with the LE in it, so that's a guarantee.

Some great deals for sure! Picked up Dead Space, will probably snag Back to the Future, and I'm still on the fence with Pixel Junk Shooter. I'll make a decision after checking out the demo.

If I didn't already have Shank and Scott Pilgrim I would snatch those right up!

Now see, this is why some of us were waiting till the last day or even the day before the last to redeem the free PS+ trial. Sure there's still nothing THAT great, but some of those sales are decent. I was just about to get Shank also like right after I activated the trial because it was on sale then to, but good thing I didn't as now it dropped even lower in price (for PS+ members)...

Though, that's the only somewhat good thing though is just the sale prices being lower for PS+ members. Golden Axe I already have twice, once from XBLA and then it was included in that Genesis disc that has all kinds of Genesis and their Arcade ports as well. Think it's called Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection or something like that? So that free game is no big deal....

I just wonder what happened to them saying they were going to update the PS Store twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday until they caught up on all the releases they got behind due to the outage. Obviously that never happened and doesn't look like it will happen?

@xxZOMBIExx What are you talking about ? How long do you think PSN was down for? They already caught up, they updated twice a week for a while. Now it's back to the regular schedule. The welcome back program expired as well.

He's talking about the 30 days of PS+ membership. If you redeemed all your goodies when they were first announced, your PS+ would have expired by now and you wouldn't get any of these recent things at their PS+ prices.

If you redeemed your PS+ 30 days on July 3rd or whatever, then you're still rockin' till august.

@sigma8 - Yeah that's what I ment... It was just more for all the people who went and bragged about activating their stuff within the first day/week and saying that we were in the wrong for waiting till the last day or two to activate our trial...

I was one that waited till the 3rd because there was nothing that got released or promo'd during the month of June and because their blog/FAQ's said the whole welcome back program would be valid "through July 3rd" and that "it would be removed once that date has passed". Then people blamed us like it was our fault, when it was Sony's which they realized and ended up turning it back on for like 36hrs since they turned it off a day early....

So that's all, but like I said, there still hasn't been anything that great still, but those sale prices are pretty good and definitely has me interested in at least one of the games. Just need to make sure it's 1080i compatible or if it's 720p only which would make it downscale to 480p on my TV since mine doesn't support 720p, so it would look like crap if it's not 1080i compatible at the very least. But that's a whole other discussion... lol

It's the Catherine demo for me. I've already played the crap out of the Japanese one, so now being able to understand what was said has me excited. I have to say that the game was surprisingly intense. In fact, it had me on edge more than any of the horror games released this generation, which is really something since this is nothing more than a puzzle game. I cannot wait for the full game!!!!

PS+ stuff, Scott Peelgreem DLC, Maverick Hunter X, and Catherine demo for me this week. If I hadn't already gotten Pac-Man for my sis sometime earlier, then maybe. Bit tempted by PJ Shooter 2 and Back to the Future, but I'll hold out. Already have RISK: Factions on XBLA, so nah on that, too.

Scott Pilgrim? PixelJunk Shooter 2? Dead Space: Extraction? All at the PS+ price without the cost of PS+? I found more stuff I wanted here than on Steam's summer camp sale! (To be fair to Steam, I already had SMB, Audiosurf, Terreria, and a few of the other biggies, and ended up getting L4D1+2 and CnC3+KW).

That's what you get for not putting it off and discovering Sony's novel take on the meaning of the word "through" as in "available through July 3rd". But what is SMB? Super Mario Bros? Smash Bros? >_> Funny, your Steam must-haves differ greatly from mine. Maybe I want SMB, maybe I don't, depending on what it is, but I had no interest in Audiosurf or Terraria, and picked up the Fallouts and Shogun 2 instead. And Magicka.

Is this really the end of L.A. Noire DLC? I was satisfied with all of the content but still yearned a big expansion like Undead Nightmare or The Lost & The Damned. Maybe it costs too much to produce. Can't wait for a sequel!
