these sports titles need to have "expansions" or DLC rather than a new version every year. The only real thing that changes is rosters. The new stuff has been gimmicky for the last 3 years now.

If you played NHL every year you'd know how inaccurate that statement is. I don't play Madden at all but I know that the 'roster update' label is BS on that series as well.
NHL has shown more significant improvements to its' gameplay in two years than COD has in 4

If it's been that long for you, you would be completely blown away with the changes that have taken place over that time. Ever since they came up with the skill stick, the NHL series has been amazing and year after year one of the best sports games you can get.

I wasn't going to buy this, as I already have 10 and 11.
But with the Jets coming this year, I might just do that.
Only thing I wish is that you could import your Be-A-Pro or Be-A-GM profiles from year to year.
Especially the GM. But more especially the BAP.
That absence is the reason I didn't get into 11 that much, even though HUT was kinda cool.

That would be pretty awesome. I have a pro in the latest iteration I'd like to keep my stats (particularly proud of my +658 TkA/GvA in four seasons)...

Every year they come out with an awesome trailer. Every year it feels the same. Looks good, but I'm taking a break from the yearly mostly a roster update game.
