I love this game on DSi. possibly the best DSi game out there (Shantae is a close second in my book)

This game never clicked with me on DSi. But then, Shantae never clicked with me on Game Boy Color and Lit never clicked with me on Wii. I guess I just don't like WayForward games.

@Epoque Never played it. They're 0 for 3 with me so I'm just going to stop buying their games.

You sound like you're a Lego Piece in a box of K'nex with all this lack of clicking going on

Honestly, LIT was terrible. Barely any direction to figure out what to do or what buttons to press.

This game however, I bought on Tuesday through PSN and it's amazing. It looks like it has speedier flipping than the DSi version.

@Kirkpad
I liked Lit (and loved the phone gimmick) and didn't have major problems completing it - sure I got stuck a few times, but figured it out eventually. I think I used a walkthrough for one point, so not disagreeing that some parts were inadequately clued - but pretty sure it was only once, it didn't spoil my enjoyment.

Don't think I'll get this one though.

I can only agree. A Boy and His Blob was okay, just okay. But the rest weren't enjoyable. I fully expected a Metroid game in Shantae but it wasn't to be.

That said I only played the game on my colleagues modded DSi so maybe it had one of those anti-piracy measures that makes copied games bad; like that Batman AA game.

Portabliss is when I have to pee and I find a clean Porta-John. If someone Mighty Flips it while I am in there then I am covered in Portapiss and other unpleasant things.

Hmmm, think you could post a "Worth it!" summary on the bottom.

I know its the bane of many reviewing systems (a form of "scoring") but as great as that review was i still have difficulty deciding whether to take the jump and purchase some DSi Ware games. Although luckily this column was created so thanks for the help Joystiq!!

P.S. When the hell are we getting 3DS specific digital content?? STILL waiting on MML3:P and that Rolling Armadillo game Nintendo!! FIX YO' GAME UP!

@Red Deer Well there are a few 3DS specific downloadable games in the 3D Classics and Pokedex.

As for Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype, you might want to sit down. http://www.capcom-unity.com/devroom/blog/2011/07/18/a_message_from_capcom

That trademark spectacular animation, sound, and game design, now available to PlayStation owners. I jumped on this one at release. Hope it sells well enough to convince WayForward to bring Shantae to PS platforms as well.

Play this on the 3DS/DSi. I'm sure it's a lot better with two separate screens.

So is this just a re-release? Or is there any added content? If it's the latter, I know I'm buying it! Again!

Great. I'll get this for my PSP. Shantae would be nice too. I just have a regular DS and I am waiting on a 3DS for some good games.

I've been trying to remember an NES game I played growing up similar in concept to this for ages, but I can't for the life of me. It had two screens side-by-side, each with a character you controlled in it (I think they were penguins?) and though the map on each screen was different, your two characters moved at the same time according to your input, though their movements were mirrored. The goal was to get both character's to their individual goal at the same time. Anybody else remember this or did I completely imagine everything?
