I think you need to look a little closer at the picture of the sternguard veteran. Blue armor, white helmet, gold trim, and what appears to be half of an upside down omega symbol. At least one of these guys is an Ultramarine.

@theBrayn If he needs to looks a little closer, You need to check out the actual game. They have Blood Ravens (Actually the default Chapter), Imperial Fists, White Scars, Ultramarines, Blood Angels and Salamanders.

@FrozenBabylon Furthermore, The Librarian's armor is also always blue, except for the left shoulder pauldron which carriers crest of the Chapter that you choose.

@Faceless Troll And wow, it really is short. A bit more polish with an extra check-point or two wouldn't have hurt.

Thanks for the heads-up. :]
I was on the fence about buying this title since I was already saving up for WH40k SPACE MARINE but I'll just get this for the meantime and hope an online multiplayer update/more maps DLC occurs.

played the trial and thought it was pretty good for what it is. will most likely get based off of my immense adoration of the Warhammer 40K universe. can't wait for Space Marine.

I thought it was pretty vanilla based on the trial. Encounter enemies, shoot enemies...standard fare, really.

A friend and I bought this game so we could play it together online. We didn't read the fine print. Totally our fault, but we still feel a little ripped off. A co-op game with no online in 2011? REALLY!?

hey, same thing happened with that Lara Croft arcade title. fortunately they have patched it so it can now be played online. here's hoping they do the same with this.

Played through the game with a friend couch co-op (obviously) and we had a lot of fun... Sharing powerups IS a nice touch. A fun game.

I've played it and, yeah, it's pretty much your standard twin stick. However, they do get the W40k "feel" nailed down solid. Nothing like mowing orks down in their own Kroozer.

I thought it was a pretty decent twinstick shooter, but in comparison to the reviewer's take on it, the game only lasted me about 2 1/2 hours (co-op of course) and there wasn't really much in the way of a challenge at any given point in the game. It's more like a fun romp through a bloodbath than any kind of a challenge.

Not a bad chunk of entertainment for the pricetag, although I'll include the disclaimer that I know next to nothing about Warhammer, so avid fans mileage may vary.

Needs more PC version. I own a PS3, but would definitely prefer this on steam where he can hangout with my copies of all the dawn of war games and expansion and space marines once its released.

I'm having fun with it.
Too bad the studio who made it is gone, it has real potential to be expanded into it's own 40K series.

I got Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate

anyways. i'l get this when it hits some kind of sale. i really like to play this but the short playing time is what makes me wanna wait for a sale.

@HardBoiled2009

FWIW, if you want to lengthen the game, what you have to do is pick a character that is less appropriate for the missions.

The 2 who focus on melee attacks make the game much harder.

Techmarine makes things too easy.

I really like it, for an arcade shooter of sorts I thought it was quite good. It's a testament that with some extra push, Dawn of War could be a console port. If only!

Worth it if you are intending to get Space Marine, as you receive content for that game from Kill Team.

With a name like Kill Team they should have made it star Deathwatch marines.

"The $10 price is a little hard to swallow for anyone who isn't a Warhammer 40K fan, especially compared to the quality and scope of other titles available at that price. It would have been a solid purchase and its flaws more forgivable at $5"

dont worry. from all the bad reviews this game got, I would assume $5 is right around the corner.

I like the Kill Team for $10. Here's hoping that they add a few more levels. Nothing like hearing some dying Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggggggg!!! in the evening.
