Or the giant boar demon in the opening scene of Princess Mononoke. Miyazaki, genius that he inarguably is, has some pretty big tropes he repurposes time and time again. I guess someone else ought to be able to do so too.

That's only because Nintendo is making him wear mascara this time around. Other than that it's pretty much the model from TP with lighter colors and most of the textures removed so it would fit with the new overall feel that Skyward Sword is going for.

...Um, oops, did I say that out loud? Mistake, of course I meant, my first thought was, 'wow, the character design is excellent!'
Although I like his clothes in the first part better than the green tunic.
(Zelda is nice too, mind.)

Can this game just come out already? I don't need to see any more trailers; the discovery of new environments and places is what makes Zelda games fun. If the Zelda team stopped making so many trailers for Skyward Sword game, maybe they'd be able to squeeze out a new console game more frequently than half a decade apart.

Did anyone else think the animations, particularly the combat animations, looked really stiff?

They are sure taking their sweet time on releasing this game. 5 years for the first "made for Wii" Zelda game.
