Full House Poker is 2011's best-selling XBLA game (so far)
24
Over 321,500 gamers doubled down for an aces wild deal-in at the Full House Poker table, making it the best selling game on Xbox Live Arcade so far this year, according to Gamasutra. Also, we do not know any poker lingo.
There are plenty of other winners in the chart (which is able only to count games with leaderboards) like Dead Rising: Case West (248,746), Torchlight (191,781) and A World of Keflings (185,504). But if we were to pick a lowlight, it would be that the delightful Adventures of Shuggy sold just 2,594 despite being, well, totally delightful. What's the matter, internet? Don't like good video games?

These shouldn't be taken as accurate numbers and I don't think Gamasutra should be considered a reliable source considering they ran this article a few weeks ago - http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/35625/Saling_The_World_Child_of_Eden_Tops_US_Sales_Charts.php
If I understand their methodology they're using the leaderboards to get their sales numbers but this is seriously flawed for many reasons. For example XBLA games are tied to console not user account so many different people using the same console could be showing up on the leaderboards while only having bought one copy.

It still makes me angry that they dumped 1 vs 100 for this. Especially since one was free and this one costs money.

@blackangel209 I really miss 1vs100. This is my favorite xbla poker game but it's no 1vs100.

I preferred to play the phone version of it but hopefully this means there will be more games like this.

This game is kind of tempting, but $10 is way too much for a poker game. At $5, I think it would've sold like crazy.

I'm not a big poker guy but I did love this game. Spent several hours playing it and probably will spend some more; its a great buy for anyone who might be one the ropes with it.

It's a great game, but they need to fix the broken live tournaments twice a week. Even though there are 5000+ people online I still get sent to a room with all bots. Others bugs exist as well. So much potential here.

Not sure if this is good or bad for the rest of the XBLA games. It's been shown that many people like poker, but more than anything else in XBLA?

I can't believe that such a broken, bug-ridden, developer-ignored title is still selling that well. There has been no follow up on the day one issues still plaguing Texas Heat mode from the developers, the online players have dwindled steadily and the players who are still around wonder if any of this is going to be fixed.

Texas Hold 'em is such a boring variant of Poker. I want 5 card draw or 7 card stud. Stupid World Tour Poker.

Yet more proof that XBLA is dead. And it used to be so good too...
