You don't realize how much you love something until it's gone, it seems. In response to Capcom's cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3 over a lack of Devroom participation, an activist group calling themselves "100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3" has taken it upon themselves to, well, bring back Mega Man Legends 3.
As the name implies, the group intends to reach a collective 100,000 members, marching with their Mega Busters held high, yellow scarves trailing in the wind. As of press time, the movement is well on its way with over 22,000 Likes at its Facebook page, as well as 300-plus followers on Twitter. "We exist to show Capcom that Mega Man Legends 3 has real fan support," reads the group's About Us page. Seeing as Operation Rainfall was, if nothing else, successful in raising public awareness, 100KSFBBMML3 has nothing to lose by giving people the opportunity to make themselves heard.
Personally, all we want is our own Data. That little guy is adorbs.

I'm still not seeing why Capcom couldn't have done the game for both the 3DS and Vita. Given that Capcom's MT Framework engine is designed for easy porting between systems, I don't see why they couldn't have released it for both if they were worried about the 3DS' success.

Put it on the PSN as well and I will support it. Otherwise, it doesn't do me any good being on the 3DS.

What's weird is that fact you don't ride MML's rod.
I bet you would want to ride it if you knew what it looked like, which by the way we got to vote on in the devroom (because Capcom wants the inevitable doujins to be accurate) and the one where he has a merry-go-round on his tip won.
I'd ride that all day son.

I Liked the Facebook page, but I don't think 100,000 people will be enough. Capcom doesn't care.

You might be right. We all understand that this whole thing is at best a crapshoot, but it's something we're passionate about. We hit the quarter mark today, and we're going to keep going as long as we possibly can. Honestly? I hope we go all the way to a million, and further still. I personally don't intend to kick back and listen to PR about how 'clearly didn't care.' Not after all those posts on the Devroom, after watching and rewatching every video they put out for the game until I had it all committed to memory, and after getting quite literally every friend I know excited about the Prototype edition.
They want fan support? Here it is.

I wouldn't buy the game because I don't have a 3DS and I don't really have an interest in the Legends series, but I still would like to join the group simply because I absolutely despise Capcom's business practices. Remake the same fighting game 10 times with different tweaks and characters, expensive DLC that should have been (or was) included on the disc but the customers have to pay to "complete" their game, and now cancelling an original game that plenty of people were interested in because it would be "too expensive" or some BS. I'll do anything to stick it to them now.

Unfortunatly capcom didn't make mml3 last year so they don't have any reason to make Super Ultimate mml3 with alternate costumes and other bs that capcom resells us.

Another day, another legion of fans begging Japanese companies to get their heads out of their asses actually release products people actually want.
What a bizarre way of doing business, both Capcom and Nintendo. They're literally REFUSING to take money from people actively WILLING to give it to them. And then they wonder why serious gamers don't take them...well, seriously.

Nothing will make people want something more than saying they can't have it. This game if released would get average reviews and sell terribly.

There is no way in hell the only reason they canceled it is because of low devroom numbers. Good luck to the movement, but don't get your hopes up. 100K isn't even a great sales number.
