I'm with you bro....but...... ....... ..... that's not how Riley Freeman would express his excitement for BF3.
It might go a little something like this, and I paraphrase: Yo man that joint look off the chain yo, I'm definitely pickin that up so I can bust on some fools with the chopper!!!! You feel me, You feel me, I keeps it 100!

This might be a little off topic, not really, but I really really really admire how in a lot parts in the world; people are encouraged to learn multi-languages.
Normally I feel great about being bi-lingual in the United States because most people only know one language, but then when I speak to my European, Oriental, and Middle Eastern friends; they know like 3 - 5 languages and where taught that in schools.
The guy in the video (I'm assuming, his first language is not English), yet he speaks English so perfectly.
I'm jealous... =(

Off-topic, but my favourite topic no less! I was taken quite off guard when I came to the States to find everyone only knowing English. For a country with no official language, there sure isn't much encouragement to become multilingual. Coming from France, English was my third language.

I'm sure the main reason English has become so fluent in America is due to the fact we do not have such a large amount of countries bordering, or near bordering us. All we have really is Mexico with Spanish, and Canada with French, and many Canadians also know English well. SO not as much diversity around us either, as far as languages go, so not as much demand to be that multilingual beyond Spanish, or even French.

were* taught in school. Ugh spelling mistakes.
and on topic; the game is looking pretty nice. I wonder what he said about DX9? I thought the game was DX11/DX10 - only.
Hopefully DICE fixes the recoil too, there is way to little or no recoil what so ever. I don't want ACR's blasting the whole game.

true on the recoil for some parts of the vid. Mainly when I saw him fire the glock in the first vid, recoil seemed nonexistant. The glock's slide seemed to not move at all either lol.

In addition, a lot of Americans are resisted about learning a different language.
I past so many "This is America, Speak English!" signs everyday. That is kind of sicking IMO.
First, America is composed of multiple countries and the dominant language is not English, it is Spanish. XD
but out of my technical side, This country was founded upon freedom of choices. You have freedom of speech, yet people want to remove that freedom from certain groups.
Tisk tisk...

Seriously? Where do you live?
On topic: the recoil looks perfect. When a trained soldier fires a rifle, it doesn't jump out of their hands. Compare it to the shotgun later in the video, it has some nice kick.

Canadian isn't a language.
Canada's two major languages are English and French. (Native languages are spread across the country.
and yes; in most public schools in the United States, you are only taught English and this it. There are of course foreign language classes, but those aren't required most of the time. For University, you only have to learn the basics of a different language, only the basics.

@xiLeShadow - You've got to get that sarcasm detector fixed.
For what it's worth, my school district (in the US) had French, Spanish, German, etc classes, all the way from elementary school through high school.
Painting the entire American education system with a single brush is a mistake. The more affluent regions tend to have much higher quality schools than those in poorer communities. The extremely affluent among us have their pick of hundreds of private schools that offer an even better education.
You can get a great education in this country, if you happen to be rich, or you happen to live in an area that is swimming in tax dollars.

Im against bilingual, its means were embracing fragmentation. Time for a truly world language or atleast western language. I dont care which one just needs to be one.
But you have the idiots demanding language be treated as culture and putting some sort of forcefield around culture. The Canadian who sued that airline or Ulster Scots and Irish Speakers. Learning a Dead language for the sake of it.

Actually, I heard it differently. English is the hardest language to learn cause we have so many slang words.
By the way the game looked pretty sweet. Gonna have to get Gears 3, Battlefield 3, and Modern Warfare 3. But I hate to spend that much on video games.

@Godslegion lol, almost all canadian know english well. i guess having 2 official languages is a missconseption, but i have yet to meet anyone who isnot fluent in english. mostly only quebec speaks french.personally, i dont even know it. its offered in schools but isnt manditory except in quebec. and having two languages gets really annoying when you have to flip labels to get english, etc. not so bad once or twice but when its on literally everything, it can be a little much.

One thing that's always had me curious is to why they DICE bothered branching off and making BFBC as a franchise compared to just BF. Esp. since BC2's humor element was mostly toned down from the first.
Aside from the ability to lie prone in BF3 MP, and perhaps the tone of the SP, what distinguishes BC from BF?

It's still a different story, and the scope of the stories are a bit different. Though I wonder if they'll end up connecting?

@kentuckyfried Despite what many posters here may tell, Bad Company was actually highly influenced by other console shooters, such as Call of Duty, and arguably for the better. If you go back and play BF2, it's very slow and hard to get into by modern standards and BC helped greatly in this regard. The whole Bad Company moniker was designed to show this.
If you played BF2, but not BC, these differences include instant knife (from Call of Duty and confirmed to be removed in BF3), regenerating health, inability to go prone, etc. One big thing apparent here is that BF3 is keeping one bullet clips: in BF2, if you reloaded mid-magazine, you lost that magazine.
I appreciate DICE's commitment to fun realism, but one bullet clips in a world that also features bullet drop very much irks me.
