We already have this on the Australia/New Zealand Club Nintendo store. After looking at the dimensions, it doesn't seem so giant after all. I don't really think it's worth it, but that's just my opinion because I wish the card was actually giant.

That's great I guess? I would have wanted the SNES-style classic controller or the Link and Epona statue but this works too.

@Cypher FDP that's just stuff to spend your coins on

What is an AR card?

@Jenks - It allows you to play AR games on the 3DS. If you're not sure what it is, you don't need one.

Nice to see some use for those coins finally. At the same time, I still haven't beaten "Find Mii" so it'll still be some time before I can do this anyway.

@Tab Find Mii and the AR games are unrelated, though.

@Tab
The coins this article is talking about are your Club Nintendo coins, which you earn by buying games from either of Nintendo's virtual stores (Wii shop/DS eShop) or by entering the codes you get with select retail games. These coins can be redeemed in the Club store for a multitude of things including physical goods. Also gaining coins each year will get you to certain status levels which can net you free appreciation products like the ones given in the past such as the Mario hat, Mario & friends statue and the various Nintendo themed calanders.

It would be silly if they were talking about 3DS coins because a. you can cheat for those and b. you max out at 300, which would make it impossible to get them awesome DK posters.

too bad that DK poster is half assed.

Id rather it be a true (in-game representation) character evolution rather than the rendered artwork for each game. really dropped the ball on that one Ninty

I'd kinda like the Other M screensaver, except i imagine i could just get it free off the internet, and also i don't use a screensaver ever

The 3DS AR Card would be easy to replicate and blow up for near-free too...

The same can be said for many, if not all, Club Nintendo prizes. (even for the game&watch games) In the end, it's just fun to own official Nintendo merchandise.

Even though the AR card is a rip (because you can just make your own) I still wish I hadn't spent the little I had left so I could get it.

@Theneverendingsoda

Your coins expiring after 2 years does not mean Nintendo TOOK them from you. If you failed to read any of their information about coin expiration dates that is your own fault. If you are going to sign up for a service then you should at least become informed about it first.

I went to club Nintendo to find my Order Number for my item but I saw this I immediately checked my coins to found out if I had enough and when I found out I did I went to buy this and I will probably use it for about 30 minutes and get board or it and never use it again.
