As someone who watched Bleach pretty regularly until about a year ago, I'll say that this looks super weak. That guy is big, but slashing at him ineffectually looks like a snore.
The awful English dub doesn't help much, either.
Just a nerd note: The guy who dies in the 2nd video's power (in the show/manga) is that coming in to contact with him causes your cells to decay. I guess they weren't spamming attacks enough in the source material.

@Iceman28 Yeah, the English voices are pretty much flat and boring all around.

Guys, for the people who are complaining about the dub - there is a dual audio option so you can listen to the original Japanese with subtitles. That's what I'm doing at least.
This game is supposed to be Dynasty Warriors: Bleach Version. Don't expect a Triple A title out of this, but it's a decent hack and slash game, and the best (and only) Bleach game on current-gen.
I'm getting this game, looks fun.

This is not even close to being dynasty warriors level. Fist of the north star and gundam 3 are both much better than this game. Nobody does "warriors" better than Koei, though the saint seiya game looks good (better than this bleach game at least).

Oops, I'm aware there are Bleach games on the PSP/DS handhelds, but what I meant is that there aren't any Bleach games on next gen consoles (360/PS3), I'm excluding the Wii for hardware capabilities

Got a 7 on IGN.
The hack and slash is what i hate the most. It wouldve been better if it was more focused on individual opponents. Rarely in Bleach do you see anyone fighting hoards of enemies at once.

What're you talking about? I can recall seeing more than a few instances where they have to defend against mass numbers of Hollows. It might not seem like it because they spend 4-5 epsiodes on one fight between two opponents while the mass fights are over fairly quickly but there are instances of it happening throughout the series.

Not in the manga. The anime is just endless filler. There are maybe 3 times that they fight a large hoard of opponents in the manga.

It looks pretty good! At least compare to most other pretty bad anime games.
As someoneone else mentioned there is dual language audio so the english dubs arent everything.
As for the gameplay, its a good version of dynasty warriors. According to IGN it has a bit more depth and the combat isnt boring.
On the bright side, at least the game isn't about the rediculous side archs.

Can't wait for this game. I really enjoy the English voices from the show, so I'll probably stick with those. Game looks good graphically too.

This game will disappoint.
In other news, did everyone know that Soi Fon's original voice actor died of Ovarian Cancer? Sad Stuff.

sucks that it's a one player game, these games really need online/offline co-op....offline co-op is why i still love playing sengoku basara

Wish it'd hit the 360. Nothing against the PS3, but these titles are usually multi-plat! D:

Well, IIRC Sony developed and published in Japan, meaning Exclusive and NISA is the publisher in the USA, meaning its destination is a Japanese console (Wii, DS, 3DS, PSP, PS3, PS2)

Bleach is my favorite anime but I don't read the manga, I'm just caught up with all the episodes. I really want to get this to be my first Bleach game, but I doubt I will pay $60 for it brand new when a price drop is inevitable.
Can anyone tell me what they think is the best Bleach game for handhelds?
