While the idea is awesome, all of the footage made the game seem terrible and of low quality. I suppose I should try it out while its free to see for myself.

@SisypheanLife

I suppose I'll give it a shot as well, though I did watch someone play it on a live Xfire broadcast for a few minutes, and it looked like a really low quality title. From what I saw, it looks like something a very inexperienced mod team made, something I would likely not be interested in even if it were free.

It was when it came out. There have been so many updates to it now that it's probably one of the best games I've played.

@TRONdll You are not involved in developing this game anyway?

I own the game and it runs terribly which is funny because it should run with no problems as I could play DoD: Source fine. (Which is basically the same game but with Nazi dinosaurs)

Definantly not worth the full original price, but five is okay for anyone that can enjoy it.

The idea is awesome, but since it is multiplayer-only, I feel that the game is missing out on a single player campaign that has the potential to be the new meaning of awesome.

The devteam plans on adding a singleplayer campaign to the game in the future.

That Rex is done for, humans totally have more reach than those little bitty stumps the Rex calls arms.

Unless the Rex goes all Mike Tyson and starts biting ears.

I like it for what it is... wouldn't pay $20 or even $10 for it, and I most certainly wouldn't play it with the same mindset as counter-strike or day of defeat, but I don't think that was the point anyway, haha. $5 seems fair for how much game is there, and at least a few hours of entertainment.

He's about to uppercut that T-rex and create the first brachiosaurus.

While I do not regeret purchasing this game. I do feel it was released poorly. They released it knowing it was incomplete and on the promise to add more content. They have sense then added a fair ammount of content. They have fixed a lot of bugs, and have plans for an SP campaign. I just think their idea of releasing it with about 4 MP maps at launch was a terrible choice. Had they waited and released it about now-ish with it's content it would not have recieved such a bad start. If they released it with an SP campaign it would've been way better. But, for $5 I really can't deny this game to anything. It's well worth $5.

Dinosaur punching aside, I think the more important story here is that Steam has finally put Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines on sale.
