And here it is.

If this is true - then we are all gamers here, so we are all apparently close to mauling people with bullets anytime soon.

Give us a break! Its the mental people who decide to kill others, regardless of what medium we enjoy watching, playing or listening too.

You have to be deranged to even contemplate killing poeple, let alone actually carrying it out!

Have retailers been pulling Microsoft Word as well? That Anders guy did praise the heck out of it.

Such ignorance. I'm not only talking about this piece of garbage Brevik but also some of these comments and these retail stores as well. How do some of you function through out the day without falling down some stairs and cracking your skull open? Idiots.

Brevik is a deranged individual, that is clear, so why then do these retail stores put any weight into what he says? Call of Duty is a training simulation? Yeah maybe, I mean, I'm sure those pro NFL players just had to play a few rounds of Madden and they were good to go.

Short on stock photos? I don't think they even have games at Coop svalbard.

Censoring is a bad thing.. never leads to anything good.

Since when did we start taking crazy people seriously?

Back in my day a crazy person would kill some people and say his dog told him to and we'd all just laugh and say "oh, he so crazy!" We certainly didn't start putting down the canine population for fear of a conspiracy against humans.

On one hand, I'm disgusted that the "public" still sees gaming as this weird mindf*ck that turns people into serial killers.

on the other, Call of Duty getting pulled from stores makes me smile.

Jesus Christ, if you actually read the stuff this lunatic wrote, he was mostly using his playtime of these games as a front for his actual planning for this disaster.

I refuse to believe this is as much a bad-PR dodge as it is a cheap way to make themselves look sympathetic in the face of a tragedy.

I'm to giggle at this; the nutbag even declared he has been foaming at the mouth since 2002! Writing manifestos about every little random thing that gets his ire up.

This loon didn't just get up one day and say to himself.."I think I should build bombs~ wear a uniform~ and murder little kids today!" He is all kinds of crazy like the country he lives in, since they won't end his rotten little maggoty life because they don't believe in capital punishment~ It'll give him time to foam a little more for what to do when he gets out a few decades from now.

Aside from the issue of whether these games contributed to this tragedy (which most of you seem to be focusing on), this guy played these games and cites them as helping in his attack so personally I think it makes sense that stores temporarily stop selling the games.

I mean, they guy played COD, killed a bunch of people and cited COD as helping him. If stores decide to just take COD off the shelf for a little while, I think that is reasonable.
