The Humble Indie Bundle 3 has earned over $1.5 million and is still making room for more DRM-free games. Steel Storm is now joined in that little bonus block on the bottom left by PAX 10 winner Atom Zombie Smasher, the top-down apocalypse evacuation sim (type thing) by Blendo Games. Just like the other participants in this popular pay-what-you-want offer, it's compatible with PC, Mac and Linux.
If you've already purchased the bundle, Atom Zombie Smasher should be waiting for you on the download page. Also, if you spend more than the average price ($5.42 at time of writing), you'll receive The Humble Indie Bundle 2. Counting the likes of Braid and Machinarium, the "bonus" games now outnumber the five founding members. Not exactly bad news, is it?

Honestly, who hasn't bought the humble bundle? $5.50 for 12 crazy good indie games is madness.

Bought the bundle, already had the games so the devs got a little less than normal but that doesn't matter much since it's supposed to be about charity anyway.

Making the price point at "higher than average" is an absolutely genius idea, since that number will constantly be rising as people try to pay enough to get the bonus games.

If you paid a penny for this, I wish there was a way to kick you up the arse over TCP-IP

@PoisonedAl While I'm all for getting charities and indie developers their due, a large part of the greatness of this pack IS the pay what you want model. Every download, even the penny ones, add to publicity and mark download numbers that they can show to investors.
How many of those people who bought the game for a penny showed their friends who may have actually payed for it?

@darthnilloc No, anything under 20 cents is lost to the likes and Paypal and their fees. If you paid a penny for this, you're taking money away from a charity. Well done you c**t.

I'm either spending a penny over the amount to get all the games, or just one penny. Haven't decided. Or I could be like my government and buy the games for 100 Trillion F***ing Dollars....

@2Slick Machinarium is simply brilliant and easily the most aestetically beautiful game released in recent years.

I got it for myself the first day and then again for a friend yesterday. Been trying to get every gamer I know in on it. I haven't played a single one of the games, though!!

Amazing bundle. But Atom Zombie Smasher doesn't work on the Mac. Crashes immediately.

Donated $5 on the first day, I can't believe all the stuff they've added since then.

You know what I like most about the average price being paid ?
Total payments: $1,668,275.58
Purchases #: 298,886
Average purchase: $5.58
Average Windows: $4.65
Average Mac: $7.38
Average Linux: $11.90
Us Linux users happen to be paying more per average than anyone else ... :)
Also the Linux slice of the pie seems to be slightly bigger than the Mac pie, so where is steam for Linux ?
when it was just 5 games, I was looking at the split between the devs / charity and paid a fair price, now I feel like I have slightly cheated them.

This is what makes the Humble Bundles worth 10 or more. Atom Zombie Smasher is possibly the best made non-HIB2 game in the third bundle. It's the stuff they add after the first few days that makes it worth the money. I was honestly a bit disappointed with the first bunch. Cogs and Hammerfight seemed good enough, but I didn't like the others. Maybe it's just me.
But this bundle just got awesome.

I was about to buy this but they just keep adding games. I'm not gonna buy it until the very last second just in case they add more.

You get the games as they're added.
I bought the bundle first day, when only five games were on display. Now, I have all twelve.
