wish the co-op had more to it. i pretty much only played the game in co-op mode. co-op is so under used in games.

I personally feel co-op is overused. Not unlike competitive multiplayer, too may devs just shoehorn a meaningless co-op experience into their games these days. I wish more co-op games required actual cooperation and didn't just put two or more players into the same shoes doing the exact same thing.

that is kind of what i was going for but didnt really indicate it. i think the best example of co-op in a game is Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. if games could match that level of cooperation needed to pass a level it would be awesome.

@Gwenchanteur Personally, i just want more 4 player local coop. I shouldn't have to have a mini lan party just to play firefight in the same room as my friends.

Get SlamBolt Scrappers, it's not amazing, but it's a pretty fun distraction

"If I had a dollar for how many evil clones of myself I had to kill while wearing a thong ... well, I'd probably be earning more than Hothead's executive VP in charge of plot creation"

Oh Snap!

Hope it's not to "challenging" as I like the casual play of the first 2.

first improvement to the game... get rid of game breaking bugs right at the end of the game.

"Inglehart said that while there is a vocal community looking for a more expanded co-op experience, numbers show the majority only dipped their toes into the single-player side."

Just wondering, but did he ever stop and think that the fact that the co-op in the game sucked, is why no one really ever bothered with it? People do watch and read reviews for these games.

It's like Molyneux throwing out options in Fable 3 from Fable 2 thinking it must of been "too complex for them to handle", when the real reason was people saw no reason to use the stuff in Fable 2.

Ooh, an actual sequel. And one without Gilbert. It'll be interesting to see what they do with a completely original story (and one that picked the "bad" ending from the previous game).

It's great that they want to fix things, but there's a lot to fix. The combat and loot systems, pretty much the main gameplay, were both abysmal in the first two. I'll try this one out, but I'm not expecting much.

Oh right! I completely forgot about this game. I'm halfway through the second and needed a break from the monotony and forgot to go back!

Good to hear the next is less monotonous, although that's kindof like saying the next 3DS will have longer battery life. It's pretty much expected.

I didn't mind the "shallow" co-op in the previous games, but I did mind the horrendous inventory management and mindless hack'n'slash. A few enemies required you to "solve" the puzzle of what weapons to use and when, but more of that would've been better. What's weird is that Hothead did that quite well in the puzzle-combat of the Penny Arcade Adventures games. It was odd to see their ability to execute in that department regress so badly.

For Co-Op - If you want people to play through the single player campaign, then make Co-Op locked until a certain point in the game, or perhaps unlock that as part of a "New Game +".

Wanting people to play the solo story is no excuse for not having a decent multi-player part. If we like the game and our friends like the game, figure out a way to let us play together.
