ehhh idk not really impressed Steel Battalion made its name cuz of the insanely big Mecha-controller it brought now without it and from what i saw in the trailer it just looks like another Mech-warrior wannabe

Capcom needs to stop TODAY. The trailer demostrating gameplay is HORRIBLE. It doesn't matter if this is a reboot, prequel or alternate world, this is turning out to be a huge failer. Manual/WW2-ish VT is unacceptable. If Capcom wants to release the game go ahead. I bought SB1 AND LOC. I wouldn't buy Heavy Armor as a budget title if my life depended on it. Quick solution...new dedicated controller, make everything high tech

This seems odd. Never played a steel battalion game in my life, so I hope this will be my first. Anyone have any recommendations where to start with franchise, before this one comes out?

@SpecBlank You'll want to start with this one, unless you want to drop a couple hundred for the orignal Xbox version. I've always wanted the original Steel Battalion but I was 14 when it released, and once I was older and had my own money collectors had driven the price too high to justify a purchase.

as an avid, AVID, player of the first game, i might be interested in this....but there is no way that even, good motion controls can replace the epicness of that original controller. just putting it down infront of me on a big table, and sitting infront of my (then humongus large screen CRT tv) and just enjoying the bloody hell out of the game for hours on end.

that feeling will never be replaced

Interesting, but I'm not buying a Kinect just for this.

Better idea, Make a frakking adapter for the original controller.

Using the Kinect in conjunction with a controller? Now you have my interest.

Interesting.
I'll grab it, but, I wish MS would crank out a Battletech game that tracked each arm with Kinect and imposed it onto an on screen control system.

Just thinking about the Stackpole books and how he talks about the Mech's control scheme.

John Murphy just keeps makin' them duckets with his 28 Weeks Later soundtrack. Can't fault him though, that shit is amazing.

Nope, this is a massive waste of a sequel to a unique game from last gen. Where's the bigass controller that makes me feel like I'm actually piloting a mech? That alone made the original Steel Batallion stand out.

Yes, yes, yes Evil UN invades beloved America, every neo-cons worst nightmare. Couldn't they have been at least a little more creative with this?
