Hell yes, Split screen online and better UI since the first you had to scroll to the side to see the entire menu which made it awkward. kinda sad split screen team can't connect to another split screen team but damn; this more than I could ever ask for.

Can't please them all, apparently. Troll on, trollsmith.

For the rest of us, we'll enjoy a well-crafted game and it's improved sequel.

@Ospov I'm not sure if Bordlenads was on purpose and supposed to be an insult or not. I can't help but laugh either way.

Nope it was not an insult or unintentional spelling.

See he did play a game called whatever he wrote. Cause if he played Borderlands he would not be saying that now would he?

"I don't always buy things, but when I do, I prefer video games. Stay empty my friends."
This split screen just sold a lot of copies of Borderlands 2, and I can't wait to see the "easier to use" UI.

This is awesome news! My boyfriend and I played Borderlands together, and we wanted to play online with friends, but never could together. It's like this upgrade is JUST FOR US! Only, you know....not. But it's still sweet.

My husband and I are really excited as well :D
We're currently replaying the first one + DLCs (because his HD sucks-butt) But it's still fun since it's never really the same play-through each and every time. But I'm not trying to get toooo excited about it, though, cause getting too hyped about it though. I know how that would go..Dx

but still ...excited..XD

That's a great idea. I used to play so much Mario Kart Wii with online+splitscreen. Always made the game better that way.

Im glad this is coming out next year, I waited way too long before I bought the first one and wished I had gotten it when it first came out when most people were online playing through it for their first time. If this were to come out before the end of the year I wouldnt be playing it because I will be totally devoted to Skyrim.

Yeah there was an interview a while ago and he talked about a lot of the improvements they were making with the multiplayer and the UI and a bunch of other stuff.

I'm really looking forward to Borderlands 2 since the first Borderlands was one of my favorite games in recent years. In the interview they also said they were changing up the vehicles too. The whole feel of the vehicle is going to be different. I hope it's not too different though because I loved flipping my car over all kinds of crazy stuff in the first one. I thought the vehicles were some of the most fun in the game, but it the interview he said he wanted "vehicles that don't suck" so I guess he wasn't a big fan of them. I was disappointed that the cars didn't flip like crazy in the Knoxx DLC, but oh well. I'm sure whatever they do will be fine.

Yeah I know what you mean. It took me about 5 seconds into the opening sequence in the bus to warm up to the first one. Longest 5 seconds of my life.

Same here. My roommate and I would play for an hour or two everyday, constantly remarking on how we didn't like different parts of the game, how it sucked, how the graphics would herp derp from time to time, and how we would've felt gypped if we bought it (I used Gamefly).

After a month of playing everyday and staying up WAY too late just to collect one new upgrade, I realized that I had fallen completely in love with it, flaws and all. Can't wait for the sequel.

A few things bother me in Borderlands, one of them being: NOT BEING ABLE TO SKIP THE START SEQUENCE!!!!

Other than that my only regret is not getting it sooner and not being able to play it online with others. Got it on Steam, next one might get on consoles, but most likely not.

I'm all for skippable scenes as long as I can watch them again easily later in case I accidentally skip one.

I'm assuming they are talking purely of consoles. I'm fairly sure my PC could handle split screen and hosting at the same time since I used to run 4 instances of Borderlands 1 simultaneously off the same system.

What? It was great for power leveling.
