She's tall and shapely, and wearing a yoga outfit or something that compresses her assets. It's definitely an interesting "event"-- that this completely unsweaty, very attractive woman suddenly sits next to this guy playing Uncharted, and smiles at him and decides to keep her distance and read a magazine..

Maybe she's waiting her turn so she can play Zumba?

@aray48 definitely. If you're worried about "bothering" that girl instead of turning off the PS3, you have much larger issues than your choice of headset.

Virtual 7.1 Channel is a marketing scam. Just like Blu-Ray Audio. Seriously, wtf!?!?

Anyways, looks decent I guess. Would need to hear them out but I'm not expecting much for only $100.

I would pony up at little more for a Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, Audio-Technica, or AKG headset/headphone.

BTW: The guy is a fool for ignoring such a beautiful creature. =p

Ignored? What do you mean? He totally one-and-a-half taked her, for like a whole 2 seconds. That says "Honey, you are a priority."

He probably made sure that magazine was there for her reading pleasure. He is thoughtful.

@xiLeShadow "Like Bluray audio?" Are you kidding? The dynamics of Bluray audio are insane. Bluray audio is not a sham (That is, HD audio is not a sham, which I assume is what you mean).

@xiLeShadow

Guys, he said "Virtual" 7.1 surround audio is a scam not "uncompressed" or any kind of real surround sound. Virtual surround sound uses pseudo-stereo, delay and phase shifting to create a more spacious and "fake" surround instead of real surround sound which would cost a lot more as it relies on multiple speakers in each headset. Virtual surround is also less accurate for sound placement and can adversely affect a mix.

I don't agree that it's a "scam" but it is misleading if you don't know the difference.

My Turtle Beach X31s have virtual surround in them but I rarely use it as the phasing makes music sound awful.

So instead of coming out of the TV, the audio comes through your headset? Meaning, it works like a headset should? :D

I'm quite sure its rechargeable like every other Playstation product released in recent time. I don't see a place to put batteries in that thing anyways.

I'm pretty sure when it was spinning around at the end I saw a mini usb port on there like on all the sony PS3 peripherals. I was also scared since they didn't say flat out that it was rechargeable, but now I'm good.

This is actually really tempting for when I want to play games late without bothering neighbors. I got a complaint letter from the person living below me for playing Bioshock 2 loudly late at night, saying how the "demons" were keeping her up. XD

Now that I've posted no less than three comments mainly about the girl, I should probably state that I'm annoyed that this doesn't work with bluetooth.. What is the point of having bluetooth support if you never use it! Dongles for the Guitar/Rock games, and now a dongle for a stereo headset? Maybe they should start shipping dongles with dualshock3s.

As far as this goes, Bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth to support 7.1

As far as pretty much the majority of the other stuff, it's mostly an issue of cost. Bluetooth is more expensive than traditional wireless. Also, I may be wrong, but latency might be an issue.
