Aliens: Infestation hits DS on October 11

Hope you're not "bugged" by a little news this late on a Sunday but Gearbox just announced that Aliens: Infestation would arrive on the DS on Oct. 11 in the US and on Sept. 30 in the EU. It's a little bit of a delay from the previous loose window of "September" for the WayForward-developed title.

Also, we're supremely sorry about that "bugged" part. We're in a room with like a thousand sweaty dudes and all we've eaten today is a low-fat muffin.

The Space Jockey as he is known by some was that big. Though the Xenomorph eggs were no where near him.

I have no interest in a DS title, but I'm just dying to see WayForward bring their awesome art capabilities to the PS3. Shortly after playing Critter Crunch on PS3, I played A Boy and His Blob on a friend's Wii. The whole time, I kept dreaming of playing A Boy in His Blob in the same 1080p native HD quality that Critter Crunch (and to some degree, Shank) provided.

I'm still keeping my hopes up WayForward will bring their awesome art and animation talents to a 1080p HD-capable console.

@matthargett boy and his blob is a 2d game, what can 1080 seriously add to the game, that isnt already shown on the wii version. smh

Wow, super cool! A new DS game that should actually be on the 3DS to help bolster sales - smart thinking!

Wouldn't be so bad if DS games were actually decent to look at on a 3DS screen, but alas - they're not.
