SFX-360 spotted a YouTube video supposedly posted by someone who snuck into the Call of Duty XP setup on Los Angeles' west side and got a glance at some of the menus for the multiplayer mode. Most intriguing: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 might offer 32-player matches, which would be on a larger scale than the series has yet offered. 13 map names were also listed on the video, and in addition to the standard Team Deathmatch gameplay, there was also a mode simply called "Bomb." Its mechanics are yet unknown.
The good news is that we'll know for sure how legit this all is by Friday – that's when Call of Duty XP officially opens up to those who bought the $150 tickets for the show. Didn't get yours? Don't worry – they're still on sale right now. And even if you can't make it, we'll be there in attendance all weekend long to see what Activision has planned.

Why wouldn't it?
Almost every modern PC game has controller support.

"Controllers play like crap on PC, not to mention mice are generally the better option."
No they don't. Most of the time, the drivers for the game are exactly the same ones used on the Xbox 360. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
When it comes to Keyboard and Mouse vs Controller, the answer is a duh. Keyboard and Mouse always wins. If he/she is playing alone or coop, I don't see a reason on why not to use a controller, if he/she wants to.

You would be surprised what games play better with gamepad than a kb/m, super meat boy, Witcher 2, Just Cause 2 and Arkham Asylum those are just a few. Well at least from my experience. Now who the hell would play an online fps on pc with gamepad over kb/m would be straight foolish. #SWAG

Simple... Personal preference & gaming history. I can personally do 100x better with a controller than a keyboard and mouse because I've always been mainly a console player. I can't hit a damn thing with a mouse.

@xiLeShadow You countered your own argument.
While there are PC games where a controller is absolutely necessary (see: Meat Boy), using one with a FPS is absolute suicide. Since this is a CoD article, it's worth noting that Black Ops was actually only the first CoD to natively support controllers, but does so exactly like the console versions do.
However, controllers cannot use aim assist. Period. Good luck with that.

Windows supports the 360 controller natively and most games now have support for it so you don't need to use any external program.

actually Modern warfare 2 didn't. Activision might consider doing the same thing... doing without controller support just to please the PC hardcore crowd. I've been looking for sites that says it will or not.

I will not buy this... same thing over and over again. I have purchased these games since the very 1st one but I think its time to jump ship. Hopefully we can get better options and larger battles. Hopefully a real co-op that we will want to play.

@DigitalEmporer But cannot buy for steam or others, only for EA shitty service... EVEN if you buy a physical copy... Very cool.
I'm with mw3 this time and I'm no fanboy of any of the competing series, but the EA strategy isn't fair... I will not support this...

Yep so subtract about 80 from the ticket. 150-80=70. So with the music performers and the game being there the free food and the events are well worth ur money.

@Raffi256
Well if you get it on PC, you most likely can start a custom server and allow 64 Players or 128 Players. Unless Infinity Ward are reres.
You would need custom modded maps tho. The default maps would be too small.

Actually, Call of Duty had a unlimited player count.
If your server can handle 1000 on a server, you could play with 1,000 people.

Yeah, there was. I'm assuming if this is the case it'll be limited to certain maps/modes.
Then again, this COD so I don't expect any smart decisions
