that looks like a half has job for the 3ds version, which is by far powerful than the gamecube to some extent. hey, thanks to ios games devs dont take putting a effort into a game seriously anymore.

Doesn't matter if it's more powerful than the Gamecube... Gamecube was more powerful than the consoles of its generation, yet it still lagged behind because of a lack of game selection.

Not to mention a stupid proprietary disc format and lack of DVD playback ability.

What does that matter? He could have said PS2.. the point was that the graphics aren't up to snuff for a powerful console. What does that have to do with how the Gamecube sold and how many games were made for it?

Stay on topic.

Just more examples of western devs not taking the portable market seriously. It's no real surprise Nintendo dominated the market when companies like these are giving up the chance to sell potentially millions of games that take much less than the current HD games to develop, for something other than rock bottom bargain-bin pricing schemes.

... jeez, that's hideous looking. I think I'll stick with my X360 version. :\ Which sucks, because this would've been fun to take along for holiday road trips.

It might not looks as nice, but would the fun be taken away because of it?

Yeah, I went there...

It would be, if it's hard to tell which character is which due to shoddy graphics & gameplay. I'm a bit more critical of this 3DS version only because I have the console(X360)one as well - in terms of warranting another purchase of similar product; not comparison of graphical quality between X360 & 3DS(because that would be silly).
I would've expected the graphics in this to at least look better than some of the PSP releases of WWE games, but this looks like it could square off with the early-released N64 titles.

I totally get it if the gameplay sucks, but the graphics not being that great won't have any impact if the core game is still the exact same. You enjoyed it on the consoles, so why wouldn't you enjoy it again here, unless you just don't like looking at it because the graphics stink. See what I'm getting at?

For the record, that screenshot does like garbage, but I don't think you remember what N64 games looked like. His head would be a box with a flat face painted on it, and all of his joints would come to a sharp point. Rock's chest would probably be two triangles and his nips could take your eye out, especially in 3D. Though his raised hand does have the classic "N64-potato-fist" going on...

I'm not being cynical/sarcastic here... but by that logic, gamers should look beyond the graphics they paid for in both console(or handheld)and whatever price paid for the title... and simply enjoy the gameplay? >_o? Why can't we expect *both* to be at least adequate? Especially when the developers are paid to put in a decent effort?

If I put in half ass effort like this on my current job, I'd be fired with the quickness(and technically in my line of work, someone would likely die as a result, but that's off of the point). Basically, what I'm trying to say is that while I did buy the console version and had interest in playing it on the go; I don't think I could stoop to buy this game at retail cost given the efforts seen thus far. I can't imagine it miraculously wowing a consumer by gameplay alone given the track record of the industry.

It hurts badly when you see a lazy dev after playing games showing what the 3DS CAN do.

Good luck selling your junk.

People asked for more games... sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for. This turd will be one of many coming soon, I'm sure.

It's still strange that even though it's a quick port based on a known-quantity property, that they'd choose to release it smack in the middle of Nintendo first party title territory. Then again, I'm sure it'll sell okay and I *know* that THQ could use a little Q4 money.

Meh, it's THQ. They're kinda notorious for bad games/business decisions. To be honest, I think I'd have been more taken back if the game looked gorgeous and had a release date that made sense.

You have terrible opinions and a terrible habit of having to (try at least) put your site's URL in almost every one of your posts.

I actually liked the WWE All Star demo, but I haven't bought a game since the N64 days. If this game is even in the ballpark of those old games WITH Create-a-Wrestler, I will buy it day one. Graphics do not matter to me with a wrestling game, never have, it's all about how it plays!

@lolmoneys What people are forgetting is that most consoles have a bad first year xbox and ps3 didn't get of to a great start when nintendo starts bringing out the big games then 3ds sales go up and devs start putting more effort into games.

So we are judging this game by one screenshot? Oh wait I forgot that's what most people do nowadays. I'll wait until i see a video before I'll start building an opinion. However, if the gameplay is anything like the console version, then this game is gonna be the shit.

@byaboy Well i liked the ps3 version minus caching, so I would potentially like a 3ds version provided the game is similar. But there is no way I could say whether I like a game or not without playing it
