Kirby: Mass Attack minigames feature minis, games
17
Historically, very few small pink blobs have done more to further innovation in the field of minigame design than Kirby, and judging from the above trailer, HAL Laboratory's DS swan-song Kirby Mass Attack will continue that proud tradition. Other continuing traditions include: ruthlessly destroying docile forrest creatures via accurately timed button presses, and ruining Whispy Woods' day in as many ways as possible.

that's a lot of extra content just adds more value to an already awesome kirby game so much pink

I guess Mass Attack isn't just a clever title.

@LionheartAce It references the games main story element, where you can control up to ten of Kirby at a time. It's a Mass of Kirby, see?
The minigames are just something extra. I'm sure they tie into the main game somehow, but even if they didn't, they're nice little breaks from the storyline (unless of course, they're part of the storyline).

If this was by Activision, each mini game would be an additional $5.

You forgot the crucial step where they Officially announce (promise) that they will never be releasing an Ultimate Kirby Mass Attack. Thus lulling their fans into a false sense of security and ensuring they will be buying both games and not just waiting for the Ultimate edition that will *snickers* "never" happen.

These all look really fantastic, especially the top-down shooter and RPG.

A shoot 'em up, RPG/strategy, and the return of Kirby Pinball?! I hope the mini-games are fleshed out enough to not be just a bit more than just a "mini" game.
Also, I really hope the main game has some challenge to it. Since the N64 Kirby game, I don't recall playing a Kirby that was actually challenging and engaging except for Canvas Curse.

That's a lot of minigames. I wish there were Kirby Tilt and Tumble and Kirby Canvas Curse type mini games too.
And what's with the JRPG looking one? I would be very interested in seeing how HAL would turn Kirby into a JRPG.

That looks awesome, I'm definately interested in this game now (since I don't know much about the main game yet, it wasn't more than another kirby game to pick up at some point). I hope you can use the d pad for that shooter game.
