Please don't release this year. I want to at least play some other games before my soul is consumed, again.

Because "character choosing screen" doesn't sound right.

I've lost all interest in this game after all the announcements that have been made recently. Oh, and WOW is that minimap big! Actually the whole hud itself seems unnecessarily big.
Good thing Disneyland is right by the Blizzcon centre, or else I would definitely be regretting buying that ticket.

You are kind of creating characters. I could create two characters using the same class, but they still wind up as two independent characters in selection screen. Essentially, you're creating a new hero with which to play even if s/he looks identical the last one you created.

To add to what I just said, if they called it character selection is that really any more accurate? Say I select that barbarian at that screen and then play for a while. Then later I come back to pay again... if I go to that screen and select the barbarian again will I be playing the same character? Nope. It will be a new. The screen that shows all the existing characters would be more accurately called the character select screen than the one you are saying should be called that.

This hardly qualifies as footage of the game. I am disappoint.

Compared to a real RPG, this really is nothing like character "creation." Good point.

I'm far more excited about Torchlight 2. The simplicity, price, and lack of fascist DRM appeal to me.

So the guy takes the existing 30-second character creation screen video, and a few of the screenshots that were posted, and makes a video of it? You would be better off watching the original video. This guy is doing it for nothing but views.
And left and right mouse button are assigned to attacks? Without click-to-move, it doesn't feel like a Diablo game.

@Drakkenfyre You click on an empty spot your character walks there. You click on a quest giver, your character walks over and start talking to them. You click on enemy your character walks over to them and bashes them upside the head.
Click-to-move is alive and well.

With the description "only two spells on the left and right mouse buttons", didn't seem that way,
I was hoping they hadn't decided to change it up from how Diablo normally is.

Considering that's exactly how Diablo worked, I don't see why you're complaining.

Watch the video. The guy say both mouse buttons are assigned to spells. I forgot they were different depending whether you are clicking on an enemy or open space.
They have changed so much (look at the "arcade style" health picksup they added) I was worried they changed the control style.

I'm just letting you know that Diablo 2 works exactly the same way in that regard so it's same as usual as far as that issue.
