"Would you like a Snickers bar?"
"No thanks; I already stole one."

Ok, that does it. I've been wondering for a long time due to some of your unfortunate remarks, are you Brazilian? I mean, I'm Brazilian and some of the stuff you say is exactly what gives us Brazilians a bad rep on the internet. Of course, it's not that being from Brazil gives you an excuse for being a douche, which you still are in any case, but mine was a legitimate question, not an attempt to insult you. Not that you need me to, you're pretty good at doing it yourself.

I was already terrible at the game, even just jumping over the snakes in the beginning. 9 times out of 10, "Sunnuvabitch, I just died again because I couldn't jump over that puny creature at just the right pixel."

I am not sure I want to experience that on my iPod.

@darkinchworm Any variant of the controls from Captain America or Mirror's Edge would work just fine for this game, I'm not worried.

You don't have to jump over them, you just kick them and poof they are gone. Great game BTW definitely a day one purchase for me even though I do have it on emulator for my PSP as well. I wish the sequel would also be released. It is not as good and hard as hell from what I remember but still a worthy game IMO.

I am serious my friend, you need not jump over them, as they approach you just start kicking like a mad dog until they are all dead then start walking again until a few more get close to you and start kicking again. Watch for the ones that drop from the ceiling right next to you as they are hard to kick and will nail you..move away from them and then set up the kicking scenario again until they are all gone.

Flashback actually got an iOs release, but everything I've read about it says that the controls are awful. That's the only reason I haven't picked it up.

Is Flashback a sequel/prequel to this game or is it completely unrelated?

great to see them scaling the vectors decently this time, instead of just blowing it up and doing a filter. hopefully it'll come to PSN, as well.

Increased difficulty?

Holy shit, this game was already one of the kings of one-hit kills. Most people couldn't even get passed the second or third screen because they didn't know what to do.

A game like this is going to suffer from touchscreen controls. I don't care how much they enhance them, it's was hard with a regular controller, let alone a touchscreen. I bet that's why there is an "easier" difficulty option added.

One of most atmospheric games of all time.

But playing it with touch controls will seriously ruin it. Bring it to PS3 and I'll buy it.

It would be cool to ply the game that inspired ICO, just not on a cellphone.

If the touchscreen controls work well and the process of progressing in the game isn't an infuriating, repetitive, hours-long ordeal, I will definitely have to look into this. Ireally do need to finish this game, if for no other reason than its historical significance.

The team that released Flashback did a piss poor job with the controls, and they then abandoned the game instead of coming up with a better solution. Running and jumping is next to impossible IMO. I also have it on my PSP and it is definitely better but still lacking.

Seems a little steep for such an ancient game that isn't that playable and has low replayability.

My friend had the Sega CD, which was seldom used, but I do remember an Another World/Heart of the Alien double disc that was awesome. Oh, and Flashback. Loved Flashback.
