@(Unverified) LBP1 is obsolete. LBP2 is $40. Why should they continue to support the first one?

Different guy here, but I'd like to point out that games in New Zealand are way more expensive than America, and LBP2 sells for $120, which must be about US$100, so I'm not upgrading anytime soon. It'd be AWESOME if they could patch LBP1 with the Move, they've already shown them working together in the past....

The issue is, not only do thy have to design integration for gameplay, they also have to implement all of the new Create mode features as well, which I'm sure takes a /lot/ of time.

Still feel bad. Bought the CE edition at launch last Jan, still haven't opened it up to play it. Loved the first game, just don't have the interest to play the sequel. I guess I just LBPd myself out last year.

@Milf Biggenson

i hate the story modes , i played them both for the fan created stuff. the players make 100x better stuff than the creators do which is crazy.

need to play LBP2 online.

@Milf Biggenson I kinda felt the same way, but I started playing LBP2 yesterday and so far it's been better than the first one. Better platforming, graphics and overall fun. Try it! :)

This update has been out since Tuesday. I already installed it, and it FROZE MY PS3 during the game's loading screen after the Move caution screens. I am contacting MM later today, although their contact info is not very clear, and I have already posted on the official forum as well as tipped Joystiq.

My current game is now back at 1.05. I had to delete the game data, then allowed the updates to go through again but cancelled before 1.06 was downloaded. So right now I can only do offline stuff where I don't have to connect to PSN.

BEWARE!

The only problem I have is the game not quitting properly.

@xddga

It appears to be a profile problem.

From a couple of forums people have found that if you have the Move controller and the camera, plug them in and let them game load, and then go through the intro, you can then play it without the Move peripherals after you quit the game.

Another options for people like me who doesn't have a Move controller is to first get into the game using my method (delete the game data and start the game up, but cancel the 6th update) and back up your profile (which will be stored under the PS3's saved data. After that delete all LBP2 related stuff out of the Game Data Utility, including your profile. Now install the update and it should let you get in since you're using a fresh profile. Then in the pod just import your saved profile.

I haven't tried the second option yet, but I will let you know if it works when I get to it tonight.

Ok, I can confirm that the second method of deleting your profile and reimporting it works. In fact, in the Game Data Utility, you only have to delete your profile data, and leave the game data alone so you don't have to reinstall it.

I absolutely NEED this DLC... My levels Really need the Move controller stuff. Also, The custom stickers, and Animated stickers would just kick so much booty.

@T0K3R Dude, the move support was still being developed. CHILL. I do not mind paying for this DLC. Come on, you know you will buy it the second it hits PSN.

I was going to give you some punctuations, but they would probably burn your hands if you touched them.
